No spoilers, but the premise of Episode 2 is so insane lmao, get ready.
I was probably 10 or 11 when it aired and I remember telling my mom that I was going to try to get on season 2 馃槀 I loved this show and watching again as an adult is hilarious
You guys asked about demographic...I watched this show when I was 11 while it aired...and I was in love with it. I remember having favourites and everything. Trust me...it gets wild.
You should react to Jontrons video where he interviews Jimmy from this show.
see inept kids. yall weak in the states yo. my mom worked so i had to take care of the house and cook myself since i was like 11, never burned myself or the house. yeah i got some knicks and cuts over the years, heck i get them as an adult but nothing enough for a hospital or anything crazy like this. first worlders. shake my head
kids still hunt nowadays. i did it in the 90s. my cousins kids did it in the 2000s when this aired. my homies are doing it with their kids now......
i would love for this to be done with adults. one team from america, one team from asia, one team from africa just so we can show yall this shit is so easy and normal lol WEAK. so many countries dont have ANY toilets and you are crying over having ONE? FAIL. murica out in episode one. africa wins lol
yall are so over thinking it. murican privilege. you do know there are many countries and areas of america where people grow up in woods and deserts so................confused at all the disbelief and how its "so dangerous" lol living in the city is more dangerous. ill keep my country life, yall soft. we went hunting and tracking through the woods BY OURSELVES, no camera crew, no emt on set (all reality shows have them) no host or any kind of adults to help us. 36 years later im still alive. walking alone in the in city in day or night? MUGGED! nature is safe, city/humans arent
i saw the first episode and just never followed up with it. i prefer the tv series "tribe" same concept but scripted and the kids are teens so it worked better for me. guess im just not into little kids. flashbacks to when i worked in daycare *(shivers in horror)
I have no idea what I just watched, but it was amazing. I am now fully on Team Green and by the time I reach the end of the show there had better be a bloody coup which results in Mike being exiled east of Eden to the Land of Nod, or I鈥檓 going to be really pissed off
It's demographic is probably other children, I watched the entire series a few years back when I was like 13 or so.
This brought back so many memories and I don't think its healthy how fast my hatred for certain kids came back to me 馃槀
You guys gotta watch the Jontron videos on this in your free time lmao. They're fucking hilarious and he interviews one of the kids who participated.
Please keep reacting to this
I LOVE KidNation
Oh WOW! I was checking to see what this Kid Nation was all about and totally realized that I watched it already when it aired on tv. Thanks Pavi. Nice selection!
And this was a half-troll reaction request and half real because of the crazy lore that exists behind this show because this can't possibly exist anymore in any capacity. This show was a one and done thing and it's fascinating that it ever existed at all, and it's furthermore fascinating how it worked. I've seen the full series multiple times. Hopefully you guys finish it whether on or off camera. ALSO I made a kid tier list and it's somewhere in non-listed spoilers in the discord LOL.
Thank you so much for requesting lol, this show is a trip.
Also, Jimmy is going to medical school now LOL
OK a bunch of things. Yes, most of the stuff was left to the kids on their own. Production would find out the gold star winner the day before and rush a camera crew out to the parents' house but not tell them what was going on. Yes, the show was mired in lawsuits after the fact for a variety of reasons from kids who drank bleach to kids who got oil burns, etc. Michael did an AMA on reddit about the show. On youtube, this show has had a recent resurgence. Jontron made a video on the first episode and interviewed Jimmy, Funny or Die has a series on it, a streamer on twitch called ConnorEatsPants did reactions to the whole series. A youtuber called The Eric Barber has recently done a ton of interviews this year of all the kids now as grown ups. Multiple of the kids have youtube channels.
If they want to hear a follow up on what happened with Kid Nation, there is a video from Jontron where he's interviewing the "Jimmy of 8 years old"
Queen Sophia!
I would love for you to continue this!
lmao yoo i remember this show, this shit is wild man. would be cool if you guys continued it.
I hope you keep watching this. It was wild to see when I was a kid
What was this lmaoo
We need to keep requesting each episode so they keep watching it on camera!
That kid who gave the speech gave off strong protagonist vibes. Talk no jutsu for the win
Oh man just wait for his arc to be completed
I remember watching this when it came out and still to this day its one of my favorite shows ever. We need to bring it back!
This show was wild fam idk how they let kids do this
