Sad yet understandable that you didn’t continue with the series…it’s hilarious tho..hope some of you watched it on your own
So did you do more Food Wars reactions somewhere and I just didn't find them yet? >.> I really hope so! I'd love to watch you cook the recipes too!
This reaction is always hilarious.
You guys should keep watching it’s pretty hilarious and just a good anime 👌🏼
Please more food wars. :'(
How do I request a anime?
Please do more Food Wars!
REACT TO FOOD WARS!!! PLEASE!!!!!
Awesome!!...so glad you guys are checking this show out finally!...looking forward to more reactions...
FUN FACT: In the manga, after every chapter... they actually show the precise recipe for every dish they show in that chapter.
And I thought that Hunter x Hunter had the best orgasms
I have been waiting for you guys to react to this show for sooo long, I love it. When I watched it for the first time my roommate came into my room on the exact moment the squid scene was playing and her reaction was the same as yours. I just laugh at her, lol. Whenever you guys decide to continue, here or on your own time, you HAVE to watch while hungry it makes the experience more gratifying.!!!
What happened to their Tokyo Ghoul reaction??
Tokyo ghoul was the reason they got copyrighted. They said in a video (I forgot which one) that patreon contacted them to remove it. So most likely they won’t react to it at all
Wow ya'll have been getting into some good stuff lately. I'm impressed.
Food war is pretty good, aside from the overdramatic scenes
I tried to watch this show but I just cannot handle the orgasm reaction scenes
just watch it with a speaker in public so you assert alpha dominance
People who complain about the dub Erina voice obviously never gave the dub a fair shot. The dub is great at adding information for the show and good jokes.
Great reaction glad you were finally able to get a taste
the main issue with the English dub is not the acting. The problem is changing Erina from noble family arrogance to valley girl arrogance
Agreed.
Yo you guys have to put this series into regular reaction rotation...trust me you will not be disappointed...it’s funny, it’s dramatic, it’s got amazing food, and sexy anime ladies...what more do you want from your anime
Soma is one of the best mc in anime to me. If you don’t mind the ecchi aspect of the show it’s absolutely amazing
Ya'll, ChefPK on YouTube replicates nearly all of the recipes from this show. Check him out
I'm almost always sub over dub, but you guys are being way too harsh. This is my first time hearing the dub, and it's surprisingly solid.
I second Brian, Chef PK has a great gotcha pork roast video.
You can find the recipes online most of them were in the manga chapters. Or you guys can check out Chef PK on youtube hes a real chef who did reactions of Food Wars and has cooked many of the stuff from the show.
Food Wars is a cooking anime. :)
Was one of those voice actors the same as the one who voices might guy in naruto
It's best to think of this show as yugioh for cooking. In the yugioh world, cards are everything. In this world, cooking is everthing.
Love this show, and it’s full of delicious recipes, many of which can be made at home
Pseudo pork roast isn't as catchy as Gotcha pork roast
He calls it Gotcha pork roast later in the series, the dub just used Pseudo in episode one as a way of describing the dish
This quickly became one of my favorite anime awhile ago and I’m soooo glad you guys watched and enjoyed it, Ive wanted you guys to start reacting to it since back when you started My Hero, and the fact that you guys got so many laughs out of it too makes it even better
This manga/show is way too creepy to be enjoyable.
Its really good
IRRC, wasn't the manga author literally a hentai artist before coming up with this manga? That explains the lewdness oozing out of the reactions from characters enjoying their dishes.
Not hentai, but he did another style that’s in between manga and hentai I don’t remember the term for it though
So a couple things: First I’ve watched both the sub and dub versions of food wars and I’m glad you watched the dub. The dub jokes are really funny and they also give you additional pieces of information on certain topics Second, the show does have an official cookbook that’s filled with the recipes from the show. It also has some recipes not included in the show that were written by the chef who comes up with the recipes for the show and manga. She wrote each recipe based on the characters cooking style so they’re all really unique. The cook book is only available in Japanese, but I have a digital copy that’s been translated into english and I would be more than happy to share it with you guys Lastly I have made the Gotcha Pork Roast a few times and it really is amazing
I've never seen this before but I was curious I never realized... lmao If you guys pick this up instead of death note I'm giving up on yall lmao why wasnt chris in this ...hes an essential for this
It's on Netflix's👍
Y’all should have done two episodes. I personally don’t think the 1st episode shows how good the show can be. It actually turned me off first time I saw it. the fan service was a bit much but I stuck with it cuz I heard about the food competitions, the food looked too good plus it was pretty funny too. The 2nd episode gives you a better look. And yeah you do get the recipes and in the manga it’s written for ppl to try at home too.
I don't think the show really hits its stride till episode 12. There is nothing compelling about a character that can do no wrong. Its the struggle that makes us watch. Which why unfortunately keeps this show from being in a top list because it essentially goes nowhere for however many seasons its on. But "Memories of a Dish", thats where things really start firing on all cylinders.
God I hope you guys come back to this when you can easily in my personal top 5. Also the channel was Epicurious who do the 4 levels of cooking different foods, don't remember the exact name of the series though.
Man seeing how much they enjoyed this, it kinda sucks that they always have to react to shows that other ppl want and make it to the wheel rather then shows they want to watch or continue watching. i get they have had this system but i feel like they have earned/deserve to have at least 1 or 2 shows they picked themselves. Keep up the great work guys!
For sure, i agree with you. I watch a couple of other reactors, namely Blind Wave and Imon, and they sometimes pick their own stuff to watch and not just things that win the polls, and i have no idea why The Normies have never really done that, other than "the schedule" i guess. If The Normies just wanted to pick up a show without it winning a poll that would be dope, if they have the time and space for it of course. Mainly saying this in the hopes they'll just watch Death Note and Gurren Lagann tbh lol.
Now I need blind wave to watch an anime with ecchi elements in it.
Also, I believe the YouTube channel Rana was talking about is Epicurious.
Oh its dub :'|
you do realize what channel you are on by now right...it's 90% of the time going to be dub, not sure why people still get surprised.
You guys have to make that roast! I’ve made a few of the dishes from this show and they taste great!
PLEASEEEEE CONTINUE THIS ANIME! IM BEGGING YOU! ITS SO GOOD
if I may have the audacity to rephrase what Suraj said at the end w/ my own interpretation of the show's intent: As a grey-asexual man I was definitely annoyed by the "foodgasm" trope being used in this show but....knowing how boys can be on the internet & how they're conditioned to think about women.....I do kinda enjoy the idea of baiting creeps & inappropriately horny boys stuck in puberty into learning so much about cooking that they might leave w/ something more substantial, fulfilling & constructive than demanding girls & women to "send nudes pls" . as an autistic I was very intrigued by how the show/manga plays w/ imaginations, certainly gave me a few ideas on visualizing things more effectively since I usually struggle w/ it. But I did find the lewdness disturbing & was happy that it was toned down season after season.
"As an austistic"... ok
God i hope they continue this, its so good and their reactions to it are exactly what i hoped for
Noooo, they turned best girl into a valley girl.
As someone who has seen both sub and dub the valley girl esq choice actually worked out really well, you really hear the change in her voice as the character grows
was not expecting this, great surprise! The show is great, though that humor gets a little stale for me after a few seasons
if yall continue this series do not watch this in dub. Sub is wayyyy better trust. And I prefer dub soooo....
I mean that’s your opinion
Man, I love Food Wars but it is so hard to recommend to people because of the ecchi-ness of it. Hope this becomes a regular thing. 😁
The "plot" is great, but the PLOT is legitimately fantastic.
