Tier Updates!
Hello everyone!
It is with deep regrets and anticipation of mayhem and disappointment that we have to inform you we've decided to discontinue our reaction request benefit.
"But Normies? How could you? I love reaction requests!" Trust us when we say we love them too. Not only do we get to experience new shows every week, some of which we would likely never stumble upon if it weren't for your requests. They broaden our horizons and they also allow us to take a peek into what wider audience is into. And when you are into something, you guys always let it be known! Our reaction requests have consistently been getting the most interaction in the comment sections here and on YouTube.
Unfortunately it's been taking a lot of our time trying to fulfill the demand. We never anticipated this much interest in reaction requests and planned on doing one a month. When our queue started filling up, we've moved to one a week and are currently processing two requests a week and our queue is growing and growing.
At this point we realized we cannot fulfill the demand in a reasonable time frame. Additionally we've also gathered a lot of valuable information about what most of our viewers want to see on the channel. We would like to adopt some of the shows we tried as requests and do a full run of the series, however none of that will be possible if we keep the request gates open.
To those of you who have been using this benefit on a monthly basis, do not despair! We will bring reaction requests back on a more manageable, limited and more exclusive scale. However, we have to deal with the queue we currently have, and then we will see if we can resume this tier.
We wanted to extend our sincere thanks to all of you who used this tier and supported us through the time this was in place. We're incredibly grateful for your support and enthusiasm for the channel!!!

C'mon now Babylon 5 is fucking great. It has got to have some of the best writing in science fiction I've ever seen. It's too bad they won't see any of it since it's a reaction request so they probably won't see more than 1 episode/2max.
I’m excited about Mob and Doom Patrol. Babylon 5 will be interesting. But I agree with everyone here. That’s not really a one episode show.

That's because Steins Gate isn't a shounen and non-shounen is going to lose in the polls most of the time when paired against the best shounen of the current/previous season. There's also recency bias to consider as well. The next anime poll is of course going to have Mob Psycho and likely Tower of God as well. It also doesn't help that people can see the voter numbers for each choice on each poll leading to people bandwagon on another show because they don't think a certain show has a chance of winning. But hey, at least Blind Wave reacted to it.

It’s so cool to see Doom Patrol on the list. I hope this opens the door to more DC Universe reactions (Young Justice is my personal favorite).

Yessss Kaguya Sama is one my favorite shows for 2019, and 2020. The anime is hilarious and I love it 😂 and I agree Food Wars is great but who chose the dub 💀

Highlander! I never would have thought of it but would love to see more reactors hit this. Generally I like when reactors do a much older show, like Lost or Rome or Deadwood or Cowboy Bebop, etc. once in a while. And yeah, I can see how the requests could pile up; I follow other reactors who ran into the exact same problem: a request tier being far more popular than expected at the price and causing a deluge lol...

I would *dearly* love to hear your reflections upon how you discover in retrospect what the format, setting, budget, use of cgi, writing style, staging, conflicts with the studio, and work environment did to impact longform TV storytelling in the 22 years since it aired. Seriously. If I were a millionaire, I would finance you for it because I think your various and diverse perspective both in terms of your sharp intelligence, knowledge of the TV genre and milieu, and your interpersonal dynamic of snark and teasing would serve very well for a full review of all 5 seasons of Babylon 5, some of the more eventful convention reunion content, the short-lived short tales, and the made-for-TV films. Especially in terms of the fact that this entire series was guided by (and mostly written by) one of the writers of MCU's Thor (the first one, he cameoed as one of the dudes who tried to pick up the hammer in the desert), as well as JMS' lack of shame or hubris in allowing himself to share how he has been affected and inspired by authors and storytellers before him.

LOL, Who's the madman that requested they react to Babylon 5? Like, I loved that show and binged the hell out of it 7 years ago, but there's about a 0% chance the Normies are going to pick that one up as a reaction series.
I just realized that given how deceptive Season 1 is to the overall arc, you may very well be correct. The overarching story arcs take a while to reveal themselves. But I do hope and wish they'd have the patience to let that unfold.
Probably best to slow things down before they get out of control.
