Double Drops and New Show Updates!
Happy Monday everyone and first week of December! Hope you're getting your holiday shopping done early and that you had a great weekend! Marketa "Ketty Wap" Adminovitch went with Chris to the Childish Gambino concert in Nashville last night and are on their way back this morning! I see she has already typed up an update post explaining the dubs vs subs issue but I will go ahead and leave this post up as well for ya'll! This week we are rolling out some new shows for our Premium Access Patrons and finishing up Season 2 of Agents as well as the series finale of Gravity Falls :'(
We put up a poll last week to decide which of the following shows we will be double dropping: Gravity Falls, Fullmetal Alchemist and Agents of Shield. We like this format of asking which shows you would like to see double dropped! In the future we may not rope anime shows in the same category as live action shows to make it more balanced since anime is more probable to win out any poll against a live action show.
Fullmetal Alchemist was the winner of that poll, but since it's our first time issuing a poll like this, we're going to go ahead and double drop for ALL shows on the poll. That's right Gravity Falls, Agents and FMAB will all be getting double drops this week!
My Hero Academia will be out later today (cross your fingers for a double drop), we are watching the DUB for this. Naruto will be double drop premiering on Wednesday! We considered the poll results and saw that it was within a 60 vote differential with SUBS beating out the DUBS. However, after watching Episode 1 in DUB and Episode 2 in SUB, though we feel the subs boast the supperior voice acting chops we decided that DUBS for Naruto would be the best way for us to watch a long standing series. We will be watching with subtitles as well. We felt this would be better for us in the long run since we will be binging multiple episodes each time we record, and with 3 other anime we're watching alongside this, it would be easier for us to retain terms and names from the seires if we were listening in English. We hope you understand how we came to this decision as it was not an easy one! Believe it!
Hope you all have a great week and are looking forward to lots of content being rolled out this week. Be on the lookout for the next live action show wheel spin releasing later this week as well!

Can somebody tell me where they posted the 1st 2 episodes And the other to for naruto because I can't find them
They’re in the $10 (premium normie) Patreon tier. Check the update calendars—they show when and where all the shows drop.
It's easier to watch them react to dub anyway
Both shows have decent dubs so either way it’s a win win
So why do a poll at all if you're not going to listen to the majority?
I'm pretty stoked you guys ended up going with the dub for my hero after all. Thanks crew. You won't be disappointed. Also the reaction will be much easier for me to digest if i have to read along with you guys to know wtf is going on lol. That is a big reason why i stopped watching the hunter hunter reactions. Subs are great, dubs are better for reactions. Simple
DISAPPOINTED. WTF whats the point of the poll then. Was hoping at least one of the anime would be sub. Now that they finally finished korra im just gonna unsubscribe
GOOD JOB! DUB!
Honestly the dub for part 1 is good after the first season and even through most of shippuden. It only starts to get really bad after a certain someone enters the story in shippuden.
Kakashi, one of the coolest characters in anime history sounds lame af in dub.
the dub is terrible, Sasuke sounds like a whiny teen
Hold up, first off, how was the Childish Gambino concert?!?!
Naruto is such a copy-cat anime watching it in the Americanised dub would feel natural to it's originality.
Dub for Naruto is pretty decent. Once you get to shippuden tho, subs was the only way I could watch it (naw like fr lol). I’ve seen all of MHA in subs so of course I’d recommend that but dub ain’t a deal breaker since it’s hyped up to be pretty good. Ain’t gone lie, y’all some brave souls for riding this Naruto wave lol but I got that will of fire so ima be watching right along w/ y’all!
decent? they sound like they are doing a book report in school. Was hoping they would do sub since I can't stand listening to the english dub.
Consider myself a Premium Normie for the next 20 years—until you finish Shippuden—And Beyond! ... Either way, half the fanbase would’ve been let down. Reacting to, or even just watching a long-running Anime like Naruto is a huge commitment, I believe the right choice was what’s best for you guys. I hope people can be understanding of your preferences.
The Normies are both wise and kind. Thank you, Normies.
Happy about Naruto dub, a little disappointed about MHA dub. The glass contains half its total volume of liquid.
I wonder why you're making polls
I made a comment about them making the poll. It shouldnt have existed. But oh well. Half the fanbase would be dissappointed but making a poll on it and not following it hurts more. Both the dub and sub are great
Aaah fuck! I love the MHA Dub but Potato Man voice in it is so bad, i hope they at least watch the episodes he's in subbed rather than dubbed.
You honestly shouldn't have a poll between sub and dub if you disregard it anyway (while saying that the sub have superior voice acting - what's that about?) Out of your current running and upcoming anime you have 5 dubs vs 2 subs. With the latest addition being Naruto (?) where subs was voted on the most, it just seems dishonest.
The only reason why so many of you cant stand dub is because you watched it in sub first and feel the need to compare every single line and voice actor to the original. You're used to a certain voice for all of your beloved characters so you feel betrayed when your ears aren't graced by the same voice actor you wanted. It's a tragedy I hope you guys can survive through it and come out stronger on the other side. Hang in there, everything will be ok :)
That is absolutely not true, the dub does a great job for the most part, except for like 1 character and a few key moments here and there where the sub is just miles ahead of the dub in terms of quality, which is the reason i'm a bit dissapointed by their decision. But hey, if belittling people whose opinions differ from yours makes you feel good, go for it.
I'm so happy about this, you guys have been on fire with the content lately. Also, happy birthday Suraj!
Hey, don’t know if anyone said it yet so... thank you guys
WTF whats the point of poll then. Was hoping at least one of the anime would be sub. Im so disappointed, Now that they finally finished korra im just gonna unsubscribe
Hype for MHA!
this makes me happy
YES!! im so glad you guys are watching the dub. Dont let anyone push you into doing the sub, the dub is amazing. The sub is also amazing if you wanted to check it out after
Where are the uncut links for Gravity Falls 2x16, Community 3x13 and Bojack Horseman 4x4 ? They usually drop on Thursday, but I haven't seen anything last week.....
You guys are boss... coming through in the clutch. Love it. It looks like you're really doing your best to keep us in the know nowadays, and It's really appreciated. Well done, Normies, well done.
I'm so excited for My Hero!!!!
I was really looking forward to my hero in sub because it's 1 of my favorite subs so I hope you watch at least one episode in sub.
I knew you guys would do right by us. Shout out to the Gravity Falls people who stood no chance but are still getting a double drop! On the subject of the you guys decided to go with the Dub...I can't say I'm happy about that but not much we can do about it.
Dubs, yes!
Really hoping you guys reacting to naruto doesn’t take away from your reactions to my hero seeing as they’re pretty similar.
Thanks, guys! And for what it's worth, I think you made a very smart decision.
I understand your decision why you will watch Naruto in dub. But for next time dont make a vote if you are gonna ignore the results. Because the hopes of many people got crushed who thought you are gonna watch sub.(No hate just a suggestion). I will still watch it because I love Naruto but I am disappointed.
To be fair she did say they watched both for episode 1&2 and thought dub would be better for them..
This is great news all around, I hope the majority of folks are happy. Happy belated birthday man.
This is awesome. Thank you for doing this. Much appreciation for all the hours spent getting this out.
This is disapointing. Naruto's dub is horrendous.
Damn it. The sub is sooo good.
Good. Do whats best for your reaction and not for people belly aching about a opinion.
Wow you guys are awesome for double dropping all the shows on the poll! And I can’t wait to see your Naruto reactions!
Double drops of both AoS and FMA:B...all that's missing is double drop of Bojack...
They gotta savor that one.
Well that's disappointing. I'll give it a shot. But I tried the dub version before and it was nails on a chalkboard. I'll try for you all because this anime is top 5 for me.
I promise it gets better. I totally felt the same way the first time I tried it, but you get into the second season, you start really being able to hear the heart that the VAs are putting into it. I could go into more detail, but that'd risk spoilers.
Wow you guys are on beast mode this week! I hope we can get the double drop for mha. And it kind of sucks for me that you chose the dub for both shows but i get it. What yoy do with this many shows you need the faster way to understand and get things done. It still sucks though, subs are way superior in voice acting
Just be careful, sometimes subs are direct Japanese translations while the dubs modify terms and sentence structure for localization purposes so listening to words that don’t match the written subs can get confusing.
Hulu fixed that issue with english subtitles and dubbing. Hulu has it down for the anime fans! - Nahid
I just want to say thank you Normies and the editors for all the double drops this week. AOS does not do many two part episodes so I’m glad this one was chosen. Hope to see you next season as well Marketa. Your ward reactions were amazing.
WOOH! Awesome. Thanks guys :)
Thanks for the update, looking forward to it! And belated, happy birthday!!
