Newsletter #1: What the hell are we up to?

Find a handy overview of where we are on each show at this moment in time on our most popular Premium Normie tier. We are also adding a free sneak-peek to "On Glob" - Chris' new music album inspired by Adventure Time tunes. Featured is also our favorite comment from our patron, Raleigh.

Where are the Normies on each show right now?

Drama:

• Sopranos 6x12

Tony seeks peace amid escalating tensions with New York, while Christopher begins a risky new relationship.

• Snowfall 5x10 and 6x1

While YouTube is just about done with season 2 (and you can read more about our thoughts on season 2 here), our Patrons are way ahead, and almost done with the show!

This week we entered into season 6, with Franklin struggling to keep his business afloat, while Jerome and Louie strike back.

Anime:

• One Piece - Alabasta arc - 117+118

Luffy is believed to be dead, meanwhile Nami defeats Ms Doublefinger, and the Normies begin to learn about poneglyphs and pluton!

• Gachiakuta 12

This is thee episode where Rudo loses control of his emotions and almost kills Amo. Tamsy and Zanka are the MVP’s of the episode’s fight, while Enjin shows why he is the one true daddy to Rudo.

• Yu Yu Hakusho - Saga 4 - 98

Yusuke becomes Raizen’s successor in training after getting whooped by Raizen, while our other friends head towards the Demon World.

The Normies are reacting to Bleach (Thousand Year Blood War) weekly as a premiere release. Patrons always get first dibs with uncut access right away!

Comedy:

• Brooklyn 99 3x2

The Vulture circles back during The Funeral episode, where the Normies aren’t exactly sure why Rosa and Gina cockblock Boyle. Mainly, Peraltiago is at risk as Jake is forced to make an arbitrary choice between love and his career.

• South Park experiment 7 (1x7 Pink Eye + 11x7 Night of the Living Homeless)

In preparation for October, Suraj had the Normies check out these two nasty episodes about two vastly different take on Zombies.

And finally, in cartoons:

• Justice League 1x7

The second part of the Enemy Below takes the Normies back to Atlantis where Aquaman sacrifices his hand to save himself, his child and the entire Atlantian nation from the greedy clutches of his icky and overzealous brother Orm.

• Adventure Time 8x20-21, 22-23

We begin the first four parts of the eight-episode Islands (miniseries), which follows Finn, Jake, BMO, and Susan Strong as they leave the Land of Ooo to discover the truth about human origins.

Part 1: The Invitation
Part 2: Whipple the Happy Dragon
Part 3: Mysterious Island
Part 4: Imaginary Resources

The Normies are also watching Lanterns, Ted Lasso and It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia weekly as a premiere release. Patrons always get first dibs with uncut access right away!

In Girls Watch Wrestling, we are checking out the 2020 Double or Nothing Stadium Stampede! (posts tomorrow)

Our weekly movie is The Perfect Blue, an anime flick that had us question reality! (posts tomorrow)

Featured comment of the week!

... because this one made us giggle.

Chris made an album!! Whaaaaaa...

Speaking of a music hole, we have something to fill yours! As you may know, Chris has been working on Adventure Time inspired music project and now the album is officially finished! The album will be available soon. In the meantime, here is a little sample of what Chris aka Newcents cooked up!

Let us know what you think about this track! Also, please let us know what is your favorite way to support musicians. We are brainstorming different ways of distributing the album. We will, of course, post the album here, on Patreon, and Fourthwall. Chris will also add it to Bandcamp. Are there other platforms you use? We want to learn, since this is our first music project, and meet you where you usually get your music from!
