Membership prices are changing, but your price remains the same!
Hello everyone!
We wanted to inform you about a change that will go into effect on November 3. After a long consideration of current events and economical climate, we have decided to adjust the cost of our subscription.
⚠️ Existing patrons are NOT affected by this change! ⚠️
Please know that our existing patrons are not affected by this change. If you are a patron right now (or if you become a patron by Nov 3), your price will remain the same as long as your subscription is active.
Our Patreon page was created in 2016, and it has been thrilling to see it grow and learn useful tips from all of you on how to be better creators, how to use our influence to make the world a little kinder, a little less lonely, and how to communicate with our community responsibly and with transparency. And this is why our message comes your way today.
While we are forced to adjust prices so we can continue to cover the costs of running the channel daily, we wanted to make sure that no further cost is incurred by our current patrons, who stood by us through multiple trials and tribulations.
We thank you sincerely for all of your support, whether it has been financial, or social (by commenting, sharing, and engaging with each other in our comment section), or emotional (by giving us words of encouragement and appreciation). We truly would not be able to keep doing this without you guys.

I honestly find it funny that the excuses are "current events and economical climate" for raising prices. I think I know what the actual problems are here but I won't go into all of that stuff. It will be too much of an annoyance to lay everything out and say what I really think.
I really don't understand the hate they are getting in these replies. If you are already subscribed it doesn't effect you whatsoever + they gave a two weeks heads up for people to subscribe before the price increase. If you don't subscribe by then or end up unsubscribing at some point then that's on you..

Do not buckle from all the sob stories in the comments Normies. I know you love your patrons. But thier problems are beyond you. You can't halt your progress as a channel and the lives of your employees (who are also trying to survive out here) for them. Stay the course.
About time guys. Shit. As a long time fan of the channel I think this should have happened a long time ago. Whatever tier you're currently in, you keep the same rate. But if you end your membership and come back any time after Nov 3, you then fall under the new rates. Simple. More insensitive to stay as a patron. I'm not sure which of the Normies pushed for this in the meeting. But this was the right call from a business perspective. Your content and the team you guys have are absolutely worth $15 a month. If someone is currently paying $10 a month. Or was paying this at any point. But a $5 increase puts you in a financial bind. Than you have bigger problems to worry about. And likely shouldn't have been paying $10 a month in the first place. Cancel that Netflix subscription IMMEDIATELY.
Okay, ignore all these other POS who don't seem to understand this is your guys' business and the voluntarily subscribe to Patreon. If y'all don't wanna pay for Patreon GO TO YOUTUBE, where it's FREE to watch their content. You all sound like as if you were complaining to a theater about the prices of movie tickets, when you don't have to go and you could just wait to rent it. Everyone complaining and throwing a tantrum needs to just shut up and unsubscribe already and leave, or deal with it. These guys LOVE their fans and put out quite a bit of content compared to a lot of other channels. For goodness sakes cut these working people some slack!
I can afford it, but I’m probably not sticking around very long just for all of these incels in the comments bichin about Jim and Pam and trying to ship whoever else on some corny ass show like Brooklyn 99 or Modern Family. Can’t we do a real comedy for the sake of comedy?

Damn I just unsubscribed for the time being because of how hard it is to pay for anything other than bills. Mind you Im a caregiver for 2 people so I get two checks, and I still can't pay for the things I want. I understand your decision fully and can only hope I can subscribe before the 3rd, if not guess YouTube it is and it was a fun couple of years. Thanks and have a spoopy October
Wow. I am a caregiver for one person and I get paid almost a thousand a week. Don't have any problems with paying for stuff. You got a shitty caregiver career going on.
yeah these patreons are getting out of hand, thinking I am going to pay the same as another streaming service when I already pay enough for those with more content that I watch. Why be greedy, put more things up at $1-$2 to purchase a reaction for something specific like new movies or shows. But to think I would pay $15 a month for content like this is insane, especially in this economy and the current state of the world. Sorry "content creators" but you might have to go get a real job.
Why be annoyed at people who are capable and talented enough to turn something you clearly have no respect or regard for into a financially beneficial endeavor? If the financial burden of paying for Patreon is too hard to bear, all reactors still have free content on YouTube, including The Normies. Paying for Patreon is just for the added benefits, if you can live without those the price increase shouldn't impact you at all.
I, like some of the others below sub time to time when there is something I want to watch. But Im not gonna pay the same price as i do for a subscription service like Apple, or Peacock. I admire the delusion that you think your service should be priced the same.

I do it for a month from time to time, because of some specific things I like to watch along with someone else, but yeah no offense, I cannot really justify to myself spending 15 dollars in a month just to watch people watching things. A 50% increase is kinda wild, too.

If you have an iphone and subscribe through the app you get from the App store, unfortunately Apple adds extra charges completely independent of creators. You can avoid this fee by purchasing through a web browser. If this isn't the case, please shoot us a message and we can try to pinpoint why this is happening.
It's a miracle how long most creators are holding out on upping their prices for Patreon/etc. Life is rough out here; stuff and services be costing! 😭 Understandable decision and I can imagine you thought about it long and hard. Thank you for giving existing patrons what is basically a discount now! 😂 And thank you for the transparency and enough time for people to get their ducks? /eggs?/money in order. 😊
Yeah it might not be true for other countries but for the US our prices on just about everything has gone up.
I only subscribed for one piece and its only 2 a week :(( im Canadian, which means its $21 for me loll i can't really justify spending that right now but I'm glad y'all started y'all's one piece journey. ill enjoy the YouTube uploads and maybe sub here and there idk
You can also wait until they have a bunch of episodes, sub, and watch a lot, then cancel. Will save money over the long run.

Well I am glad I resubscribed before this, but understandable.
Prices going up. One Piece, a show with over 1000 episodes, only releasing 2 episodes a week. It's not looking good.
we are only releasing 2 episodes a week because we have so many other shows on the roster, currently. should there be an opening and also a wild demand for us to get one piece done faster over replacing a show slot, we could do that. we will play things by ear.
Are you able to speak even obliquely to the “current” events you mentioned? Full disclosure I myself am divorced from a lot of crap with my worries farmed out on 4 and occasionally 5 others, so understand I’m asking honestly. I also try my best to avoid the news because it’s been bad too long, adds to my anxiety, and I know damn well I won’t vote Republican.
in short, everything costs way more than it did in 2016. we want to make sure that our employees are compensated for their time, skills and effort in a way that makes their lives well lived. as well as any purchases we have to make to replace obsolete or broken equipment, it's just a lot more than it used to. it sucks, coz we are all on the same boat and we are reminded of the great cardi b apologizing to people in a live video for asking them to buy her new album after she found out how much rent costs in some areas.
I get it, everything is more expensive these days so I totally understand. Thank you for keeping the prices the same for current subscribers: you have brought me so much joy and laughter I would've gladly given up one coffee or boba drink for you a month so I'm glad I don't have to. I appreciate that!
