08/29/17 Update
Hello Normies!
Our unfortunate prediction came true and we are late with our GOT reaction. Not only are our editors still sick, we also had some issues with sound. All complaining set aside, the reaction (part 1) will be up today alongside a skit. We will also release Rick and Morty reaction shortly after GOT today. We also hope you enjoyed our reaction to the McGregor vs Mayweather fight!
Additionally, we wanted to address rumors about Avatar reactions. Our regular scheduled upload day for Patreon is Wednesday. We released two a week before Game of Thrones started airing to create a 6 episode gap between youtube uploads and patreon uploads. We are now 5 episodes ahead on patreon. It was impossible to release more than 1 episode a week during Game of Thrones. It is the favorite show of majority of the group and we do a lot around. Besides skits, reactions and discussions, we play games, release uncut reactions, BTS footage and coordinate collaboration with other channels. All of that takes time and energy. Now that GOT is over, Avatar will still be released as early access perk on Patreon on Wednesdays.
Thank you all for your understanding and ongoing support. We have big things planned and a lot of that requires time beyond just editing. We are looking for a studio space, there is a lot of organizing going on behind the screen. I am not writing this to complain, but mainly to express our gratitude because without your support we would not be where we are now. We sincerely appreciate every single one of you. I love Avatar, I've actually been a hardcore fan from the very first day it aired, it had a profound impact on my life. I got hooked onto the Normies' channel because of their Doctor Who videos & because I thought Chris was extremely funny, but when I saw they were reacting to Avatar I was pleasantly surprised. While Avatar is partly why I became a Patreon, it isn't the primary reason. Because if I wanted to watch Avatar, I can pull out my DVD box set and watch it anytime I want. No, my primary reason is to see how the Normies react to something very dear to me and to support this group of people in their endeavors besides Avatar (especially their skits). Because as much as I am an Avatar fan, the real reason I am here is because I'm a Normies fan and I want to see them grow. Personally, for me, I don't expect this to function like a TV channel and have a fixed schedule. If it did then we'd have more delays and hiatuses. I think it is great that it is their goal to get so much content out week to week, but their skits and reactions take time to film and edit. Editing videos so it is entertaining but also so it doesn't get flagged by the copyright protections that services like Patreon and YouTube have is really difficult. You can spend hours editing a cut, only to have it flagged and taken down, which requires starting over from scratch. That's why I'm okay with the Normies taking their time because I rather they do it right and provide quality rather than quantity. As an Avatar fan, I don't want this to be some factory pumping out Avatar reactions just for the sake of some Avatar fans. And I especially don't want them burning themselves out to pump out content if they are having difficulties in their personal lives. Whenever I am looking forward to a Normies release and it is delayed, yes I am disappointed. I can understand and empathize with that. But I don't come here to complain because I don't think that is constructive. For me, if I were in their position and had to deal with that, it wouldn't motivate me to get it out faster (especially if I'm trying to deal with real life problems). It would make me sad and I'd be completely unmotivated. When the delays happen I look at it as an opportunity, all I do is go into their vault and watch their reactions to other shows. It's actually pretty great because now I've gotten into really awesome shows like Attack on Titan or One Punch Man. I had no interest in either show until I saw the Normies reactions and now I really adore both.

Man, I just wanna see this next rick and morty video and a bit more consistency. I'm not knocking you guys for personal issues or anything like that. But hey, maybe it's my fault and i need to find more content to keep my busy while I wait.
There are idiots on both sides who go too far, let's not pretend this is a problem exclusive to the Avatar fans. Calling the Normies lazy and accusing them of ripping off their Patreons is not acceptable. Slandering people as "Avaturds" and mocking them is not acceptable. Both sides need to grow the fuck up and stop being assholes to one another.
Guys I made a dumb joke. Now, I know my jokes aren't that funny, but it isn't worth getting this mad about. Chill.

"Avatar Fans" (whose alt is this really). Let me ask you a question? Do you enjoy pestering the Normies week to week asking the same question like some inane child? Do you enjoy making the only full time editor (Suraj) go from loving to edited the Avatar videos to dreading it because of the backlash? Do you enjoy just being a miserable human being whose mere presence depresses even the most optimistic individuals? You and your small gang of alt accounts are a disease. And your attitude is festering the community of truly understanding Avatar fans here. Go away.
This is a pathetic and frankly disgusting attack on a fellow Patron. To ask for an update or request AFTER not receiving anything is NORMAL. He wouldn't have anything to complain about if Avatar comes out on Wednesday as the tentative schedule says. Literally NOTHING to complain about. So, the fact that it's never come out on a Wednesday is not his fault. It's a normal reaction. It's not here, where is it? I don't see anything negative from him but this post? This post just takes the case with it's hypocrisy.
From my perspective, I am getting what I pay $10 for. I pay for "Early Access" and, so far, that's what I get. Some disruptions in production can be understood. If the regular YouTube is getting new product at about the same time I have access to it or within a short time frame then what am I paying for? I have no issues with the difference in timeline access that is currently online. On a more personal note, I wish good health, speedy recovery and peace to the crew. We all have things to overcome from time to time.

These updates are so fake, they act like they're thankful, but i JUST looked at their discord server and marketa (the one that wrote this) was talking shit about us (along with their discord yesmen snd women) as she was writing it. I believe she used the word avaturds.

can you guys please make a 3 parts for the game of thrones reaction in honor or Season 7 finale please I want to see all your guys reactions to the little scenes?

That would be the $10 tier. It's the "Early Normie" tier that allows you access to early episodes of Avatar.

It's alright guys, take your time (get well soon!) and put the videos out at your own pace. We understand that the videos take up a lot of time and that you all are busy and working hard. So no worries
Your health is what matters (both physically and mentally) and if you guys aren't in tiptop shape then you can't deliver the best content I know you guys are capable of. I'm all for you guys taking a week long break, but I know I'll get overruled around here, so instead just take it easy. No rush, just love.
It will be one episode for the time being. As we said, there are still many things we have to deal with that take substantial amount of our time.
