The next reaction show will be...
Drumroll, please!
We don't think it makes sense to wait until Friday to make this announcement. Shogun is decisively winning our last poll to replace The Bear. We are super excited to watch this, since many of us hadn't seen it at all but heard amazing things!!
One more news from The Normies. Following Shogun, which is only 1 season long right now, we will jump right to the number 2 choice on the poll and react to Barry!
Don't go nowhere because we will posting another poll soon as our Cobra Kai & Severance slot will soon become available. Feel free to share your suggestions in the comments for shows in similar vein as Cobra Kai :)

sharp objects series!!!!
when are yall starting Barry?
Has New Girl ever been in a poll? I was kinda surprised it hadn't been watched a long time ago.
The OA ♥️ Fleabag, Silo, Midnight Mass, Seven Seconds, The Killing. Maybe not the same genre as Cobra Kai but these are just series i like
oh my god Barry finally made it??????? fuck yeahhhh
One of the greatest shows of all time
Danny Phantom or Outer Banks
Shogun is an amazing show and deserves all the praise it has received. While this is a reaction show and you guys are great, I do recommend you (or a subset of the group) pay attention to the details. Everything has meaning in Shogun…
The Normies recently finished reacting to Succession, The Bear and are now reacting to Severance, BSG, Shogun and soon Barry. Great time to be fan of The Normies if you like live action series.
Great choices; glad you're doing both!
oh, wow.
REGULAR SHOW
Yellowjackets would be a great replacement for Cobra Kai!! Also random but I feel like y’all would love Never Have I Ever. Very much a Netflix teen drama but funny and heartwarming nonetheless
Yellowjackets is perfect vibes for the couch
Can we keep the Apple TV+ slot as its own slot similar to the DC shows slot? There's so many amazing shows on Apple TV+ and I'd hate to see it lose to another popular or recency bias poll.
Yes Apple TV has so many bangers
THE RIGHTEOUS GEMSTONES!!!! Plus new season otw
Fringe would be a nice one to watch before Blind Wave gets to it :D
My suggestions to replace Kobra Kai: Interview With The Vampire Downton Abbey The Guilded Age The Glory Brooklyn Nine-Nine Sherlock
Station Eleven would be a great reaction; HBO show that only has one season, amazing cast and story! Himesh Patel and Mackenzie Davis are both so damn good in this show! I'd also throw out either Banshee or Warrior!
please for the love of god let Interview with the Vampire replace Severance
Banshee, Evil, and Wednesday
I haven't seen the other two but I thought banshee was extremely overrated.
Please we need more people to react to Outer Banks and Sex Education 🥺❤️
Abbott elementary
Comedies : Fleabag, Nathan for You, Curb your Enthusiasm, Veep, The Rehearsal Dramas: Fargo, Warrior, The OA, Patriot, Godless
Nathan for You would also be great to see
Well that's what i call a double win, nice
1) Eastbound & Down, 2) Eastbound & Down, 3) Eastbound & Down, 4) Eastbound & Down, 5) Eastbound & Down
Suggestion: Shrinking on AppleTV Harrison Ford and Jason Segal are great in it. Same creator as Scrubs and Ted Lasso. 2 relatively short seasons.
Six Feet Under
Outer Banks please
The Starz show Spartacus would be a great show to get. It's got great action scenes, drama, incredible acting and the political intrigue is top notch.
Outsider from hbo is crazy good
For action shows: Banshee, Warrior, and Wu Assassins. The fight scenes in Banshee are incredible; they put most movies to shame. Also, it stars Antony Starr. Warrior is made by the same people and is based off Bruce Lee’s idea for a show. Wu Assassins stars Iko Uwais, from The Raid. For teen shows, Dare Me, Yellowjackets, and Santa Clarita Diet. Dare Me has similarities to Euphoria; narration from the main character, and a lot of drama. However, it’s not as stressful, but there are still tense moments. Yellowjackets is kind of like a teen version of Lost. For Santa Clarita Diet, the main characters are married, and they have a teenaged daughter. Her school life isn’t the main focus, but I’m recommending it because it’s a very funny shows with heartfelt moments.
Top 3 Drama: Silo, 3 Body Problem, See
Top 3 Comedy / Drama: The Righteous Gemstones, Marvelous Mrs Maisel, Mr Inbetween
Top 3 Comedy: My name is Earl, Freaks and Geeks, Eastbound & Down
Would you guys be against doing more limited series? I enjoyed the Beef reactions and with limited series it's generally only a 6, 8 or 10 episode commitment. 11.22.63 is PHENOMENAL and has time travel, murder mystery, and one of the best endings to a TV show I've seen. You'd also love Hijacked with Idris elba or Baby Reindeer, which is an insane watch
Yellowjackets! 💛
Friday Night Lights might be a good Cobra Kai replacement! Not sure who has already seen it but it's top tier TV!
Shogun is great! It single-handedly got me interested in Sengoku-period Japanese history.
Yellow Jackets! Compared to some of the other suggestions it does at least have SOME things in common with Cobra Kai: teenagers/violence, past and present timelines interwoven, weird mix of violence and humor, and cast is combination of beloved well-knowns & up-and-coming young'uns. Great soundtracks too!
ELLA PURNELL EVERYBODY!
for Cobra Kai I would say On My Block, Hazbin Hotel, DC: Titans, or The Runaways. Maybe also Supacell
Ozark
YESSSSS BARRY!
Barry reactions are gonna be so damn good. Peak reaction content
For the cobra kai poll I say keep Interview With Tbe Vampire and Bridgerton on there and add Sex Education, Sandman, and Alice in Borderland
Jane the Virgin
Barry! I genuinely can't wait. Underrated for sure.
Ah man...Shogun is hype
YAAAAAAAAAAS! Oh man I'm so excited. Shogun was sooooo freaking good and Barry is awesome as well!
You guys should watch Landman or Blue lock both great shows!
Crimson Sky it is
Oh also Interview with the Vampire
Sex Education!
My recommendation is Hazbin Hotel or Helluva Boss
I hope you guys watch Interview with a vampire after severance
Shogun is great, you'll love it. Please add Jojos Bizarre Adventure back to the poll, its soooo good. Honestly my fav show other than Breaking Bad/Better Call Saul
From what I heard from them in previous discussions in other shows I think 1/3 of them have wat he’d JoJo’s. I would love a reaction from them but I don’t think they would appreciate or learn from what’s on screen without being told details in the comments that would be obvious.
Two award winning shows back to back whoop whoop
Barry? I win again!!!
WOOOOO
