Boondocks ---> (?) YOU DECIDE! (Stage 1)
!!! PLEASE READ ME !!!
We can't believe Boondocks is almost over for us! (Also that season 4... ufff)
For this reason we are excited to share another poll with you guys to help us decide what to watch next. This poll will be shared in two stages.
This first poll is longer and public. Anyone can vote to narrow our options to TOP 5.
The top 5 will be reposted again and available only for our patrons to cast their final votes.
We want this new show to be a new-ish short-ish anime, so that was mostly our criteria for these choices. We did consult our discord and patreon community before this poll was posted, so we hope all is vetted and good!
Happy voting!
PS: This poll is multiple choice & you can change and adjust your votes all the way until midnight of May 10.

Give me the option to say none
watch madoka magica, its only 12 episodes and a movie. I promise you'll get hooked
Yeah, Y'all gotta slot X-Men 97 into the schedule soon, it's fantastic.
X-Men 97’ GUYS!!!
X-Men 97
Already said 'IF' they watch it it won't be any time soon
Please do single choice for the Top 5 poll
So many great ones on this list, but had to go with Solo Leveling. The manhwa is awesome too.
This list kind of fire tho
86 easy
Freiren should win
I fell off Solo Levine up, guess I’ll try it again
Dungeon Meshi would be a fun one to watch.
I've been trying to at least get the manga club on it now since they seem to have turned that in to a cooking show
Blehhh the show with egregious fan service knocking the best anime romcom out of the top 5 is brutal to see
Exactly, thank you!
Kind of wish you would make room for both Frieren and Solo Leveling. The latter should be a good long term series, and the former is a great miniseries that wouldn't monopolize a lot of time.
I’m pleasantly surprised Fire Force is going to take the last spot and get into the final vote over Kaguyasama, it’s not going to win but I didn’t even think it would get past the 1st stage
Same. Still waiting for season 3 but I think David productions might do undead unluck season 2 or the next Jojo part instead.
man they should watch 86
agree
Whoever voting for Ninja kamui needs to stop!! That anime fell off before it could even finish its show.
Same goes for solo leveling, like u get a good start, but then mid episodes later on. I wish i can take back the time i wasted.
Please let dr stone win!!!
Konosuba should definitely be on that list
xmen 97
Wrong poll, wrong slot… They already said X97 has the chance to take the place of Young Justice when it finishes
You guys should check out the reactions of the first two episodes of Kaguya-Sama: Love is War, the first one’s on YouTube and the second one is on Patreon. Now tell me that show wouldn’t be amazing to see a reaction to with a bigger crew!
I’m not a anime fan so I never vote in these polls however if someone wants to buy my vote I’ll vote however they want me to vote.
I’m just joking about buying my vote. I’ll probably just vote for whatever is in first.
Y’all ain’t ready for Madoka, peak cinema right there
If Space Dandy wins I’ll jump with glee
Oh wow, Darker than Black. Wasn't expecting to see that on the poll. Darker than Black is absolutely goated. Till this day there aren't many anime protagonists as cool as Hei. Guess I'll vote for Darker than Black and Madoka. I don't expect either one to win as they aren't shonen.
Solo leveling hype. Get Frieren outta here.
We need to widen the gap between KaguyaSama: Love is War and Fire Force. For arguments sake, KaguyaSama is only 41 episodes with hilarious comedy and some tear jerking moments while Fire Force is 48 episodes with a possible season 3 coming out this year as well, so if you’re gonna vote for one of the two, vote KaguyaSama. Edit: So I did watch some episodes of Fire Force for myself, and the story’s good, I like the characters, and the animation is pretty sick. However, the fan service does come out of left field at times. I definitely prefer KaguyaSama to be the fifth spot, but I wouldn’t be too disappointed if this show got it instead.
Wow I think this is the first time not a single show on a poll has interested me.
What type of anime interests you?
i voted for darker than black, madoka and space dandy. first because underrated later because it would make for great reaction
I voted for madoka too! that show can be finished so fast, i really hope normies consider doing it.
Don’t believe in the frieren hype you jus gona them talk 85% of the season
I mean for a show that hits on every level and has substance, the hype is real but if you only want fight scenes then I guess the hype isn’t real
Frieren is really going to lose out so some mid RIP
Fire force is so underrated
I saw that anime on the Top Anime Sound Effects
i've literally never heard of any of this lolol
please frieren!!!
DRSTONE!!!!!
Snowfall, The Bear
They are contenders to replace Cobra Kia and Succession so maybe in a few months
How about jojo or YYHS?
As much as I love solo leveling defo a S-tier first season I hope Frieren wins it’s just such a refreshing new anime it’s was the perfect show form start to finish no complaints whatsoever 🙏🏾🤞🏾 P.S I’m always the first to say I don’t care about the Sub or Dub argument as long as you can enjoy and understand what’s going on but preference this one in sub for me 😂(if no not end of the world either)
Spy Family or Fieren for comedy and S-tier story. Solo Leveling for action Ninja Kamui is so disappointing lol
I will straight up cry if they ever do Darker than Black. My favorite anime series
Was so surprised to see it on this list, such a shame its chances of being picked were doomed from the start in favor of some mediocre power fantasy story like solo leveling
When the patreon poll narrows it down to top 5, hope they make a 6th option for the patrons to vote “I’m not voting for these”
Tbh I think there should slots for anime that less time, and slots for anime that take a lot of time like bleach /naruto level long. That way anime’s that are 12 episodes can be cycled through.
Why does it have to be yet another anime and not xmen97? The show is trending very heavily rn and taking on some very heavy subjects in such an amazing way
They made a post about that already, this is from that post- "Young Justice will end for Patreon on November 28, 2024. Young Justice be replaced with a poll between Green Lantern (1 season only but highly rated), Justice League, Teen Titans, X Men ’97 (it’s Marvel but might catch similar audience), Batman Animated Series (select episodes that are popular only), DC Animated Films (Killing Joke, Death in the Family, Judas Contract, Superman The Elite, Crisis on Infinite Earths)"
solo leveling is great, but it doesn't hold a candle to Frieren. at least they are both in the top 5
solo leveling is pure hype
SOLOOOO
Solo Leveling would be a good pick. Its a short show that has generated a lot of hype and imo it is pretty good for a pilot season and worth watching. It would take them 2,5 months tops to complete it and on to the next one. I think thats fair
It’s always the begging being hype but what about the rest of the episodes ?
If possible when the Top 5 votes are done could you guys consider Reacting to the Top 3 that wins in the order of most votes. Imo its a good way for most people have there favored show win. And let's be honest reduce argument and negative in the comments. I know scheduling is a nightmare so I don't want to put extra pressure on you guys
Maybe don't worry about other and be concerned about your own choices.
What up with “AFRO SAMURAI”!
Hope to see Xmen 97 on future polls. Missing out. Also Fire Force is on there but Soul Eater is my suggestion instead. Came out before and Fire Force is the later made prequel of it.
They said in their live stream they may end up doing X-Men 97, I imagine it would potentially be on a poll to replace either Harley Quinn or Young Justice
Again, no Berserk. 😞
none
SOLO LEVELING !!
Its gotta be Frierin or Solo leveling
A little bummed to not see more love for Ranking of Kings, but ya can't always win in a democracy. :)
I hope Frieren wins. It is such a dope ass anime
I'm surprised Frieren has so many votes... I like the show a lot and it's a lovely watch, but it would be such a boring reaction series XD
Your wild for that one chief. It goes over well with yaboyroshi reactions and king of lightning
Pluto is only 8 episodes and that's the end of the series, you get 2 months of YouTube uploads for 2 days of filming. Do it for the ease lol
Wow Darker than Black making it in a poll, nice
I will always vote for Kaguya Sama.
Unless the next two years dont have more than 2-3 bangers, we might sadly have to wait a long time 🥲
Not a show, but could you guys consider polling ( Perfect Blue ) (if u guys havent seen it.) It won many awards, and later on was copied by the west and turned into the movie Black swan starring Natalie portman, that also won awards. it's a psychological thriller anime movie.
The funny thing about it is that the Black Swan director got the rights for Perfect Blue to use one specific scene (where she screams in her bathtub) in Requiem for a Dream. Then several years later he makes Black Swan which is extremely similar to Perfect Blue but he denies he was inspired by it
CAN WE NOT GET SHONEN SLOP INSTEAD OF OTHER GENRES. That's to the Solo Levelling voters
Shonen is not a genre it’s a demographic, the majority of shows on this list fall under Shonen including Kaguyasama, Frieren, Dr Stone, Ousama Ranking etc. Just looking at the current top 5 voted for, all of them are shonen shows however of that 5 the one that doesn’t technically have a shonen manga is in fact Solo Leveling
I'd be shocked if Love is War wins, but that show is fantastic.
It’ll get through to the next vote but yeah can’t see it taking the crown. In fairness it would be one of the longer shows on the list
If it wasn't for second season darker than black would be goated
The first season is so damn good.
Please let Madoka have a chance yall, its so good.
Would be pretty fun to see Pat react to Dr. Stone. Fer sure he will be surprised on how things get created through the power of science
man Ninja Kamui is amazing and people are sleeping on it!! its better then Solo Leveling and its only one season to bad they wont ever react to it probably
SPOILERS! It definitely had something going for it with the well animated hand to hand stuff. But fell off once it went the mecha route
Let’s keep KaguyaSama: Love is War in the top 5 at least!!
But yall telling me you guys havent watched ANY of this?? Thats craaaazy. All of them are fire
Finally, someone who’s not all “Why this show? my show is better!”
Frieren is such a good show. Watched it 3 times
Highly surprised people are hating on Solo Leveling so much, the story is interesting. Everyone loves it and it’s not too many notes they have to take for it. They just have to watch it and enjoy. Y’all demand so many shows with such heavy story all the time. Some people just like good animation, decent story and some gore.
What do you mean? That's exactly why people don't like it, it's pretty much devoid of substance.
Atlanta
Black dynamite
Not mad at Solo Leveling winning, even tho I think Dr Stone and Spy x Family are way better choices. One thing I never understood is the Frieren hype, I forced myself to watch 10 episodes but it was just too boring, I'm sorry.
*Lynx Patronus*: “They are coming”
Spy x Family and Ranking of Kings are the only shows worth watching on here
L take
Time for everyone to vote for Garth Marenghi's Darkplace.
I'd like to see reactions to Solo Leveling, Madoka Magica, and Bluelock.
Ninja kamui had so much potential :(
TRUE! The hand to hand stuff was so good but then they went ahead and ruined it
Tokyo Revengers needs more love
It needed more love from an actual writer
Still no Danmachi? Why??? 😩😫😤
Write in vote for Shogun. I know it'll never happen. 😪
It's boring and overrated as hell
How the hell is Solo leveling winning? These polls be run by the mid taste gang.
Ninja Kamui is better then that IMO
Darker than Black is underratedly awesome I hope they react to it one day it’s soo good
Such good anime bro and dark asf too love it
Frieren!!! The show is so fucking adorably
Frieren is the best choice followed by Solo Leveling.
none of the above
If SPY family is chosen, I recommend the SUB, Anya’s voice is better in Japanese
Solo Levelling winning, you gotta be joking me man lol
No way Solo Leveling is winning, it's not Bad but theres way better stuff
Think about it this way, they finish it quickly only 12 episodes, and move on to something else
Why there was no 2 rounds for classic anime poll
Man, forget this list. I vote Martin!
Since "Being Meguca is suffering", I voted for Madoka, to make her life a little better.
I don't know what any of these shows are or are about haha.
I would strongly recommend Ranking of Kings. It's from studio WIT and has some of the most complex character motivations I've seen in an anime. If it's not your jam, that's totally cool but I'd recommend checking it out! ^_^
Bro wtf are these choices😭😭 why don’t y’all do Atlanta or true detective or sum. I literally pay 10 bucks a month just to watch Tuesdays video. Get some live action in there lmao for us non anime watchers
They are waiting for the other live action shows they do to finish so they can replace them, given they have to get through Cobra Kai, Succession, Buffy, Angel, the Office, Always Sunny and now Fallout it will just take a bit of time. In fairness they currently have more live action shows than animated one
86 probably won't win, but I'm happy to see it showing up on polls at least. It would also be good for a smaller couch, like the Eva group
Underrated show, it’s one of my 3 picks but yeah it’s not going to be in the top 5
Why are stuff like Ninja Kamui and God of High School on here? These literally get clowned on from all over for being bad Why is there a show from 2007 on here?
Ninja Kamui is so good what are you talking about
Surprised to see Blue lock with so little votes, i know season 1 ended quite a bit ago but still But oh well, would like to see Solo leveling winning :) great 12 episodes
I preferred Ao Ashi but it’s cool for what it is
Oh damn just saw Madoka... that one's pretty top tier too.. Honestly I'd vote for that AND Classroom of the Elite. I mean both are short so if both get reacted to, I'd be cool. Don't care the order. lol
You can cast multiple votes, so go wild! Personally, I voted for 3 of them (including Madoka, lol).
I NEED the Normies to watch Spy x Family!!!
I didn't vote for that one, but I also won't be mad if it wins. It was really cute.
Ohh finally Classroom of the Elite is on a list somewhere! lol But it won't let me select a vote...
Dr. Stone or Frieren
Pluto deserves some love
Let’s go Ousama Ranking, the best protagonist must be seen. Though let’s be honest there will be a loud minority who will complain regardless of which show wins if Frieren doesn’t
ok yoru
Darker Than Black is great but it has absolutely no chance of winning due to recency bias. Still voted for it. Pluto was hands down the best anime of 2023. More people need to watch it. It’s amazing.
How did it even get in the poll?? So odd. It's neither new nor popular.
How are you guys not on Xmen 97
Not an anime per western definition so not on this list. I could see it being a potential pick for replacing Harley Quinn or Young Justice though
frieren must wiiiiiin
This one was very good. I'd personally choose Ranking of Kings over Frieren, but that's just a personal preference. I can't deny Frieren's insanely good quality.
It's gonna be solo leveling because all people care about is an overpowered character and don't care that it has a crap story with the WORST ending.
Worst ending? Manhwa rushed it. You give it time like the LN and you good.
I just need one reaction channel I watch to get on madoka my god
danny motta and yaboyroshi did madoka.
Are we really gonna have them watch generic isekai clone #65 with a mc with black hair and a dull personality whose main ability is to one shot everything?
Not sure what show you watched, but he most certainly did not One shot everything lol
IF Y'ALL DONT VOTE FRIEREN I SWEAR TO GOD
Also I don't know any of these choices 😂😂😂
Season 4 is amazing, who wrote this??
86!!!!!!!!!
Vinland Saga season 2 ,wbbbu
Shouldn't need a poll tbh.
Why the hell is God of High School up there? Why is Fire Force there?
Fire Force is great.
Y’all wouldn’t like fire force that much
Nah fire force is good they would enjoy the crazy sound design
Love is war is the funniest on this list. Definitely should win
Damn no good choices...
...You're joking right?...
Ojalá gane algo diferente y no otro shonen jeje es mi género favorito pero hay que variarle de vez en cuando …
Sailor Moon
Chris watching love is war would be peak!
People, let’s mix it up this time, and vote for the best romcom anime ever - KaguyaSama: Love is War. If you haven’t seen it, do yourself a favor and go watch it!
Comment system is wack, but I hope spy wins
Frieren, blue lock, and 86 are clearly the best options
Weird poll
Poor dungeon meshi not even making the cut
I doubt it'll win, but it's so absurd, I'm voting for space dandy
Spy x family and Dr Stone in dub, and solo leveling can go both ways. 3 good shows to enjoy plus the spy x family movie
Listening to Anya in any way other than her Japanese VA is a sin… Her “Waku Waku” is unparalleled. If there was a way to have only Anya as Jap then I’d pick that too. The rest can be dub
Spy x family they gonna be bored af watching that 😴
I guess it's also important to know if these will be DUB or SUB.
They probably won't say until they actually start reacting to it
Where's Dragonball
Space Dandy is highly underated. More people need to experience that show. I'd also love to see Madoka or Ranking of Kings take a win. But we all know this poll is sort of pointless, as Frieren/Solo leveling will win regardless.
Spy x family, fun little cute comedy. Class room of the elite is nice too, but a fair bit of fanservice and mind scrambling.
How the fuck darker than black on here. We know the mainstream animes always get pick, fml
SOLO LEVELING WOULD BE GREAT AND SHORT
Frieren will probably win even tho I don’t particularly find it entertaining I’m sure people on the couch will like it. Personally I hope fire force gets some love
Darker than black new....
picking a secret third option-blue eyed samurai…but i will settle for spy x family
I'm not choosing multiple again. Frieren it is.
Dr Stone pleaseeee
Voting Solo
Fantastic picks but gotta go with Solo Leveling. But hoping Frieren, CotE, Fire Force, Dr. Stone, 86, and Ranking of Kings eventually make it to the couch! 🙌
Solo leveling should’ve honestly just been an instant pick up like Kaiju n8, it was insanely popular so I don’t understand why they didn’t catch on it
Guessing you guys don’t like S4? 😭
A lot of heat on this poll🔥
Lol I'm guessing they don't like season 4 😂
