MustardUI 2026.4.0 - New UI, IK/FK Panel, Physics Presets and more...
Hi!
In the past week I worked a lot on the UI to fix some annoying bugs that have been there for too long, and added a lot of features that hopefully can help you to use the models better.
This version will be available very soon as I finalize some stuffs.
Here is a non-exaustive list of the changes.
UI Rework
For too long the black boxes were lying around making the UI feel different from the look of recent Blender versions.
Plus all the custom collapsable buttons were making the whole UI slow, especially when trying to show long lists like the Extras. Using the Blender ones, the UI feels snappier and faster to navigate.
I also tried to move some stuffs in order to be more clear what they do.
Before
After
MHX Panel directly in the UI
The menu for MHX models is now available directly in the UI, removing the necessity of installing MHX. In future versions I'm planning to add support for other rig types like ARP or Rigify.
Physics Presets
The Physics settings for Cloth, Soft Body and Collisions can now be saved internally in the model (allowing the creators to ship their own settings), and saved/imported to/from files to be shared in different scenes and models.
The files can be safely shared to other people similarly to the Morphs presets.
Lips Shrinkwrap tool
The old tool has been completely rewritten and reintroduced in this version.
I rewrote it in such a way that is completely modular, so in principle it can be used on any kind of bones. I will explore this possibility in future versions.
Quick Outfits and Hair toggles
New buttons have been added for Outfits and Hair to quickly toggle them on/off. This is similar to Simplify, but instead of disabling everything and having to go through long settings, they allow a very quick disabling of potentially heavy meshes from the scene in their respective category.
Bug Fixing
I closed almost 20 issues on Github, and fixed much more bugs I found during this long coding period. Hopefully things should be much more stable, and in some cases faster.
And much more..

EDIT 1: The IK/FK panel mentioned before now it's the entire MHX panel, making the installation of MHX unnecessary to use the models.
