OptiBot - FREE Robot π€ Built for FDM, FDM Color & SLA
Hey everyone! π
Before anything else - this one really matters to me, and I'd love to hear from you.
OptiBot is a model I make specifically to work across FDM, FDM color (multi-color) and SLA / resin printing, as a clean multi-part assembly. So I have a small favor:
π If you print with FDM, drop a comment and let me know:
Which 3D printer do you use? (FDM, resin, color/AMS...)
What would you improve or change?
Which model would you like next?
Your comments shape exactly what I create, and every single one helps. π

Plugged it in to see how long it would take to print, the entire keychain that I sized down, an entire day for one in full color, the bigger file was 3 days plus just for one π¬ we try to keep our prints to under 5 hours and we use an H2S an A1, and an A1 mini. We're still messing with the fikes though. Love the designs you do, would love to see more free models, keep up the amazing work!
Hello, I'm glad you like it! One day is probably due to the large number of color changes in a small area, but your comment helped me understand that and how to design future models so the colors don't need to change so often. Thank you for this important detail!
Very nice, thank you! (as far as printers... P1S, P2S, Snapmaker U1, Reflex RS and Anycubic Photon P1. I'm not picky about resin or filament, often use them both together.)
Happy printing! I donβt have an FDM printer, but I do have the P1 from Anycubic, and itβs a decent printer! Iβll do my best to create more projects that can be printed with FDM!
I use the snapmaker u1. The only thing I would add would be another plat where it only has 4 colors.
Okay, Iβll keep that in mind for the future! But if I understand correctly, is it possible to combine 2 colors into one directly in BambuLab so that you still end up with 4 colors in total, or am I mistaken...?
Thank you for the model it looks great!
I'm glad you like it!!!
