8/18 Update!
Hi everyone! It's been a hot minute for a update from me.
Things have been a little quiet in August, I hope you all are surviving the insane heat waves!
Birthday Stream!
As some of you may know, my birthday is coming up! It is August 26th. I want to do a birthday stream on twitch to celebrate! I wanna do little scrunkle doodles as a giveaway to celebrate and just have a fun chill time. Nobody is required to donate or do anything, all you have to do is join in stream and have a reference ready to send to me for a little skrunkle-chibi type of drawing i'll probably spend an hour or less on them.
I'm planning for this Friday August 21st at 1pm est. Looking forward to seeing everyone and having a fun time!
I will be absent August 22nd unti the 29th. Kay and I are going to a beach place to relax and chill. A little fun thing to do before our move soon.
Which brings me to the Move. We are planning early October to move. We want to hire some movers to load and unload at each location. We don't have as much spread out stuff this time and can move our stuff together all at once which will be a big relief.
In September we will need to make a trip or two to prepare the rooms we will be staying in. I'll need to lift and move around furniture and we will take a trip or two of stuff in a car to make moving a little easier.
Plans for September
Aside from the travel and moving things. I wanted to discuss artwork and Patreon for the next month.
I was originally planning August to catch up on Patreon works and commissions and I've done that a fair bit! I managed to get half the commissions started/finished but time has been sneaking up on me for Patreon rewards. I'm going to be sketching out a handful of Patreon rewards and i'm planning to finish then as well as focusing my time in September on Patreon. I'll get done what I can for August, but I'll be churning out your requests in September with a free determination because the beach trip was the last large planned thing on our list keeping us away from home and work.
Thoughts and Ideas moving forward
It's been a bit a bit chaotic that every month has kept us from work physically for a week. Imagine operating 100% with only 75% of the time available. There's no groove to get into when you are pulled from your routine! I am hoping things will fall in place after our move. I want to stream consistently, I want to be focused and have my private space to work.
I've been doing pretty good this month since I havn't accepted more work, but I'll need to accept more commissions at some point. I'll offer to do more stream style commissions soon, but I'll not treat them 100% of the time to be made on stream I think it was harming my efficiency completing them on my own time off stream. I think I will pull back from having them be solely for stream, but have the option to appear on streams. Like I can stream them on discord to finish!
