Blog #20 — Beware of Chicken and Billboards
Hey everyone, I have two pieces of news for you! The first is that Casualfarmer’s book, Beware of Chicken is out in bookstores now! Look at this picture of it in the wild!
I’m wishing them the best of luck. And The Wandering Inn’s first book will also be in bookstores tomorrow! The hour of web serials coming to the real world has arrived—here we go! The vault is closing in four hours and the books will finally reach you and that’s huge.
You know what ELSE is huge? A billboard of The Wandering Inn, in your neighborhood. Look at these images:
That’s right, in a select few cities we have the billboards on highways, or bus stations—if you see them in the wild, uh, don’t take a picture especially if you’re on the highway, but shout it out! I hope they make you smile and do a double take (again not while driving), if you see them. Our cities we are live with the billboards are in:
Los Angeles
San Francisco
Washington
San Diego
(I really like the tagline one of the marketing people came up with too.) Spread the word, and here we go! Books in stores tomorrow!

I’m 4hrs away from finishing book 19 😕. Such a great series. Even after so many hours of listening I hate to see it end.
I got my pre-order of book one.
I just received my book!
I preordered but I also wanted to buy a copy locally to give to a friend and the Lexington, KY B&N couldn't find the one copy they had ordered. Searched the whole store. Damn you Roshal!
Billboards? What the hell? And yes, please overtake the AI billboards, they are a menace.
No Killing Goblins. Love the Billboard!! 💕
Letsss goooooo!!!!!
Congratulations!! 😃
I am very confused by the BoC announcement. I thought I bought my physical copies of it from Barnes and Nobles months ago.
Hey hi so hello from the east coast? Is Washington the only city on the east coast? Could have sworn i lived next to Boston
BILLBOARDS!? Probably still not as large as the actual book.
Great taglines indeed. I hope this brings us some new readers to join in the wonder!
I’m just sitting here watching my tracking number like a stalker for the book. So excited! Grats paba. First stop Billboards next new York bestsellers.. i mean probably a few other steps between..but semantics! EDIT- So. Not sure where to reach out but my book was canceled during shipment because it was damaged and barnes refunded it.. i just brought it from the store now because i need it.. but is that going to affect the kickstarter bonuses?
