10.67 O
It's a shorter chapter this t--checks wordcount. Nope, it's a PERFECTLY REASONABLE chapter! Also I have a pest problem. Mice. Not the computer kind. Chapter's out and wish me luck! (25,900 Words)

This chapter was actually really great to read. Hope things go better for the Sisters and the gangs of Izril
Zage asking about "Captain Osthia". Which she probably should not be aware of?
So is there a murch drop later this week or another one? Well there me checking next week either way
Yesterday I walked into my garage and nearly stepped on a juvenile Rat Snake. It slithered into a tipped over paper bag to hide, which made it easy for me to take it out into the garden and let it out. I sent a picture of it to my mom and she asked why I would just let it run loose in my yard. I told her I hadn't seen a mouse or rat in ages so clearly they are all putting in the work. Basically, what I'm getting at is have you considered just tossing some snakes into your basement?
Had some mice once. Designed and 3D printed a custom mouse trap to deal with it. Even had it send a notification to my phone when it tripped. Which meant a few nights of having to get up at 3am and go for a 3 mile drive to release it.
Tame the mice and have them help you write!
Use a bucket trap. They’re amazing for mice, can catch multiple. Use one every year when winterizing my parents’ summer house.
I cried once I hit the half way point and beyond. It was amazing thank you.
It’s a great length! and good pacing and an interesting development of a character I haven’t cared about before now. TY!
Yay, thanks for the chapter Writer Paba, I wanted to eat my fill but will add a couple of audio chapters for dressing!
Been waiting all day for this 😍😍😍 Thank you
Dealing with a mice problem of my own and found I found out that Ratsac has a new formula that doesn't transmit after ingestion i.e. if an owl eats a mouse that ate rat bait, the owl won't get poisoned. Just an FYI since I was reluctant to use baits for the above reasons, but the population surge meant that trapping was unfeasible.
The peripheral's plural is technically "mouses" for just this reason, but few people recall that. You write weekly novellas and we all know it. You also admitted in the author's note that it is actually 80k split. If I ever get back to "Critical Stop", I keep having the same problem: Ch. "1" turned into 1 & 2 because I will not ask people to concentrate for 30-40 pages, then Ch. "2" turned into 3 & 4 the same way. In fact, Ch. 2 is still dangerously long, IMHO; I will need a meat cleaver to keep it <20 pages in a mass market paperback. I actually went to the length of transcribing a full page of my copy of "The Great Hunt" so I could match the printed and virtual margins (because I hate one- and two-word line wraps with a passion, especially when trying to trim pages. :P) It definitely helps to have been typing at >60 wpm since age ten, though I have never been able to top 70 with any respectable accuracy.
Understood. Thank you for the warning and hope it is not to crucial It is appreciated. And known as well. My prayers are always with you.
The ducks are starving. Just kidding, this is good! TY for the chapter! Also, Luck!
I had a mouse in the house not long ago. I used a glue trap. Somewhat inhumane I grant you but it was eating my food and I killed it once it was holding still.
You can do catch and release with those, but need to take the rodents several miles away else they find their way "home". And that is still not idiot-proof, because they must be freed from the glue, but alcohol will dissolve it. Just do not repeat my mistake of failing to realize that need until AFTER the rat is exhausted by vain efforts to free itself on a gusty night just below freezing, else it will just lie there gasping, free, but too weak to move, as it quickly freezes to death. I tried... .
And it’s crashed
And it’s back yay 😀🎉🎊🫡
Yuss! Couch time!!
Gateway problem, criessss...imma wait for site to be up. Thank you for chapter
