I loved this arc. Thank You. It took me almost a year from first encountering book 1 as an audible and then powering through all Of it to get to where I now wait, anxiously, for your chapters. And then consume them immediately. This set of halfseeker stories was amazing. I loved seeing the deeper development of these characters and their level up’s. I also agree with the comments by Sean Coker about the arc’s of supporting characters needing to move along with the mains. And that you have taken the time to dive into non Erin focused elements of the worlds story makes this what it is… truly the best work of fantasy I have read yet. The most compelling. The best world building. While I am deeply curious as to what happens next for Erin and Ryoka I have to say that volume 10, especially the Palace of fates arc, have been amongst my favorites. The future casting it allowed you to do was amazing. And Lord Moore, alt Mersha, & Kevin returning bring something brilliant to what you can do next. I can’t wait to see where you go with this. This was, as said above 9/10. Palace of Fates was just WOW. Thank you. More please. Clown?
This was amazing. I hope you do more of these short chapter arcs more, they're so fun!! Also I hope we finally move away from Izril for a bit lol, Baleros and Chandrar are still stuck in pre-palace hell :/
Crazy stuff
Really enjoyed this arc, as well as Zevara's. I loved the much needed reflections on the Palace of Fate arc. More then that... I think these sort of "catch up" chapters are utterly necessary for TWI. The story structure itself demands it. There's an inherent tension with having both a huge ensemble cast and telling a story thats part progression fantasy. The fundmental issue is that supporting characters need to keep pace with the protagonist or risk falling into irrelevancy. However, power progression tends to feel cheap unless its "earned" through character development. So at some point time needs to spent showing the supporting cast literally leveling up. This is much less of a problem if the protagonists have immense personal power (e.g. the vast majority of progession fantasy), or if the relevant "supporting cast" is kept to half a dozen characters are so. However, TWI has one of the largest ensemble casts of literally ANY story ever written by a single person. To make things even more difficult, none of the primary or secondary protagonists (Erin, Ryoka, Lyonette, or Mrsha) have combat specialties. From the very beginning the Inn has had to lean on the strength of others. We've spent millions of words watching the Horns and the Innfolk grow in power and influence. All the while the old bench marks of strength, such as Relc, Zevara, and the OG gold rank teams (griffin hunt, silver swords, half seekers) have kind of stalled. Im happy to see so many supporting characters from book 1-3 get some level ups. Tl;dr: 8/10 for the entire arc. Always want more Erin chapters, but TWI is basically an entire cinematic (literary?) universe in of itself. Also, it would've been cool to see Seborn get another level or two. The Amerys v Valeterisa chapter was 9/10. The Jelaqua focused chapters were also 9/10.
This was so much more than I expected and don’t know how you do it looking forward to Saturday hoping it’s a inn ep but see where you take us next on this journey
Thank you! It was great!
We repeatedly tell you that you do too much. Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining
That was great, really enjoyed this arc!
Wrap up round up. Now each Halfseeker know what’s up.
You always give us everything, and thank you for that :)
Thanks for the arc
HUGE, thanks for more reads.
Unexpected TWI post? I was supposed to work tonight!
