Widowmaker - Beachside (8K)
Hey everyone!
Back with some OW content. (Surprisingly) been having a lot of fun with OW lately and had an urge to make content related to it. A lot of the OW stuff I did in the past was with the original OW1 cast, in usually either lifestyle outfits, nude, or if it's related to the game, it's OW1 skins and outfits. Been wanting to play with the new stuff from OW2 bc of the substantial increase in material quality, and like I mentioned previously, decided to have a take with the Beachside skin that recently dropped for Widow bc of how fuckin hot it's been til recently. Was a bit of a throwback working on this one. Forgot a lot of the backend side of Blender after my long break, so revisiting the tools needed to acquire the new assets brought me back to learning all of this for the first time back in the covid years.

So much purple, I love it! The pure white background works surprisingly well since there are so many dark tones to work with. Also as per usual it's nice to see some attention to her feet since there's so much detail to work with, especially for lighting purposes. P.S the dynamic hair is a nice touch.
Glad to hear that you've been having fun with OW recently and that it inspired this awesome piece! I got back into playing the game myself late last year after taking a long break from it, and I agree that while it's not perfect and never will be, it's probably in its best shape in years and I've generally been having fun playing it again. This Widow piece is gorgeous! 😍 (and the inclusion of her feet is an appreciated bonus 😁) Fantastic work as usual!

Balancing this many heroes will be impossible, but I feel like the game has felt the most balanced in recent patches. There was a time not that long ago where playing any role just felt miserable, especially tank.
