Julie d’Aubigny history’s greatest rascal
Nice one! All I keep reading about is people trying to dismantle pride month ☹️ it's nice to see support
24 - Monty Python (Graham Chapman specifically) 297 - The Wizard of Oz (I mean) 362 -The Matrix (trans allegory, directed by trans sisters) 411 - Cher (I mean)
I can't remember if his sexuality came up in the episode, but there's a whole chapter on Ronnie Kray in the book "Bad Gays" by Huw Lemmy and Ben Miller. And didn't Julie d'Aubigny fake her girlfriend's death to get her out of a nunnery?!
Eurovision and alan turing, village people, dolly parton. while some are not gay themselves they are gay icons!!
Anne Boney in recent eps? she married a man and had a woman partner ? bisexual icon
Good call!
