Never have I turned on a COMEDY podcast hosted by literal comedians and expected to jump into the hard n fast facts. It would be jarring. Tbh I've forgotten 90% of anything y'all have ever said lol. I'm here to listen to my parasocial friends chat and have a laugh.

What a bunch of sadsacks. It’s called… press pause and move on with your life? Honestly, I much prefer some interjected humour and pre story rambling to cut through the grimmer of topics. Never change, guys. The pod is perfection. Always has been.
Idk if I've ever listened to a podcast that just sticks straight to the topic and never veers off. The best most memorable parts of any podcast is always the random tangents the hosts go on. That is certainly true of Do Go On. That's why I love it. I love history but also random funny banter.

Losers doing loser shit, that's all I see. Buncha jerks who can't get on board with a little bit of fun, or with listening to articulate people speak with accents.
But that's the charm! The tangents and rambling are my favorite part.

Hmm I’ve started a lot of podcasts that I haven’t continued. But it’s always “this isn’t for me” and turn it off. I wouldn’t think to give a one star review for something I didn’t like, especially if I hadn’t paid for it. Maybe if it was super racist or sexist? But it would have to be pretty offensive to inspire me to drop a 1 star review.
I guess to them it was offensively bad 😂
