Vote For Your All Time Favourite DGO Episode!
Hey mates, coming up to the 500th episode we thought we'd put out a poll seeing what your favourite episodes are! If you want to vote, here's the link: https://bit.ly/DGO500Faves
Not sure what we're going to do with the results yet, maybe a bonus episode counting them down or something - or we'll just publish a list of the top 100, dunno!
PS. I know we haven't yet released episode 498 and 499 yet - but it'd be weird to vote for a brand new episode in this kind of poll anyway (but I'll probably leave the poll open for the next few weeks so they'll be there for then if you want to wait!)

Antarctica's first murder, Eruption of Mt St. Helena, and obviously 401, tri-state crematory scandal
Very hard to choose only three, especially without relistening. I hope the ones I selected are the ones I think they are 😂
This could backfire and imply y'all peaked years ago :p
Clever Hans, Operation Mincemeat, and Alfred Noble. Just all timers for me!
Too many choices. i surely forgot some great ones. Someone here reminds me of the French Wolf, that was an amazing episode. I just like any episode that anybody, but especially Matt comes totally undone and giggles like a little schoolchild
I was going to share which ones I did vote for, but i already forget ! Ooh one of them was history’s worst popes 🤣
I have Jess's problem... I've listened to them all (except the one... You can guess if you want) and I can't recall specifics of any of them 😂 Maybe I should take bribes to vote for those who wanted more than 3 votes 😛
Choosing a no. 1 favourite was brutal but also loads of fun! ✌️
Went for the beast of gevaudan 403 and the new york to Paris motor race. They were the two episodes that made me a regular listener. And the marathon bonus episode where the guy got chased by dogs, ate some bad apples, had a nap, then came third haha
Whilst easy to pick a favourite (I have gone back and listened to the 21 gun salute bit from the Eureka Stockade episode too many times to count), choosing two others was so hard! I kept scrolling through and just going ‘that’s a great ep, that’s a /really/ good ep, that’s a great one too!’
This is sooo hard but in the end I voted for shows I have been to / the one I appeared on walking my dog because they mean something to me 😊 - woolworth bombing / theft of the scream and History St Kilda Football Club. Unreal that these are all in the 400’s but honestly there are so many great episodes 👏👏👏👏👏
You know you can just pick 69 3 times? I didnt but i thought about it
Also this was extremely difficult because my memory is a useless shit, maybe im due a relisten.
#1 fave was easy 🐺🇫🇷 but narrowing down for the others felt impossible! Honourable mentions go to George (pronounced jerj) Mallory's expedition, the arctic balloon ep, the wild & wet Oceanos, all the heists, & that opera singer people watched because she was so bad.
As there were so many to choose from I decided to pick my favourite one from each of the trio.
That's a good idea. I didn't realize until after that all I chose were Dave's
Can we have a second poll where we have a top 50? Three was so hard 😂😂
This was too hard to pick just 3! Top 100 would have been easier..
I instantly think of “manganese” - I just enjoyed the loose early eps! But we all grow and now it’s coffee and orange juice causing the laughs!
My picks are basic bitch picks, what can I say I’m a basic bitch
It's like choosing your Letterboxd four favorites... Impossible
This was really hard to narrow down once I started scrolling through the episodes. Really my top 3 could be swapped out for dozens of other episodes without complaint. But number one really had only one choice 😵🐎
Ok thank goodness you let us pick three favourites - you are not monsters! Lol
Going through all the episodes for reference made me realize I’ve been listening for around 6 years! So wild omg and also that I have too many favorites
I didn't realize it before but most of my favorite episodes are bonus ones
That was so difficult to pick!
Each of my choices fell in the 200s oddly enough
I had to do a search through my podcatcher to find what episode numbers I needed! I also don’t think I’m a good judge of what the best episodes are, mainly because I can’t remember anything further back than 3 days (I’m part goldfish)
