A patty melt is a burger on thinly sliced rye bread or sourdough, but with Swiss cheese and lightly grilled onions, cooked like a grilled cheese. I’ve never “well actually ed” you guys, but I’ve been vegan for almost 4 decades, and when I ate meat that was my favorite diner order. Had to correct the record, cause it’s a classic sandwich.
