2026 Anime Ranking Livestream 🔥 TONIGHT @ 6PM EST

AoT is massively overrated by everyone. Just my opinion but After Season 3, the tone shifted, pacing slowed, and the plot grew needlessly convoluted, losing the mystery-driven core that made early seasons great. The ending is rushed and thematically incoherent. Most egregiously, it emasculates Eren, reducing a character whose 130+ chapters centered on transcending powerlessness and seizing freedom into someone whose final crisis revolves around romantic jealousy rather than existential liberation. The narrative strips him of agency while simultaneously holding him morally accountable, a philosophical contradiction it never reconciles. If Eren was bound to a predetermined timeline, his choices weren't freely made, yet the story demands we judge them as such. This recodes him from driver of events into a passive vessel for hollow moral closure, making the climax feel intellectually dishonest. Annie spent more of the story sealed in a crystal than actually participating in it. Ymir was killed off-screen and narratively discarded. Historia was sidelined into a forced pregnancy arc that erased her agency. And Mikasa was pushed into an off-screen marriage and children with a man the story never developed, reducing her entire arc to silent domestic closure. Even if you disagree, the animation quality objectively dropped from a 10/10 to around a 6.5 after the studio change post Season 3. The whole AoT narrative is basically Evangelion mixed with code geass but for normies, even copying the “meat mecha” concept (and yes, titans in AoT are just mechas). The first three seasons are god-tier, but after that it gets worse and worse every chapter. I genuinely remember thinking I’d clicked the wrong anime when I started Season 4.

Had my popcorn ready for the Bocchi ranking. The drama did not disappoint.

Time to get upset again because my fav anime is only mid for most reactors 🤣

Obviously aot,ds,and jjk at the top

Hopefully it doesn't get too toxic 🙏🏾🤞🏾

This is going be interesting. Save time and just put AoT at the top🤣🤣🤣🤣
