Hi from the future. I posted on Reddit a question about these tables when this volume was released but I didn't get anything straight. I'd like to know if these new crew personalities and skills have some approach that the character personalities and skills don't have. Maybe more heist-oriented or something like that. The same with the complications and goals tables, did these were designed to work with any kind of adventure?
I'm sorry I didn't respond to this sooner, I wanted to take a moment to think about it because I couldn't remember right away how I went about making the tables ... and that moment grew into a few weeks! To answer your question, the approach to assigning skills and personalities is very similar to how you would find it in MGME2e. However, I took the similar Meaning Tables from there (like Character Skills, Character Personality) and reworked them a bit until I felt they fit the heist/gather a crew motif better. So very similar, yes, but I did try to nudge it all more toward the atmosphere and feeling I was trying to achieve.
