I am in love with both the Expanding Events and the Mythic Chases! Thank you so much for these!
Yay, I'm glad you like them :) I hope you're having some wild and exciting chases!
The chases article was great! It's a keeper! This will definitely go into my Mythic toolbox.
Yay, I'm glad you liked it :) It was a lot of fun to write!
Reading the Chase article was like a chase to get to the Big Example at the end.
Who won the chase?
I love this issue! I was skeptical of the Adventure Crafter section as TAC has just never clicked with me, but I think this time it will. I'll know more once I get it to the table, but I'm eager to do so.
Please let me know what you think once you've tried it :) Part of this was an experiment in representing the AC in another way, a sort of test run at a second edition.
Not sure how I feel about the Adventure Crafter section. It makes it more simple in the analog sense, but way more complicated digitally. I'd need to code a subtable for each plot point and then a primary table of when each theme would trigger. Gonna need to ponder it a bit and see how to approach it. I find it interesting, but also more complicated.
These are physical tools first and foremost.
I’m stoked on the latest issue. I recently needed to home brew a chase scene, and hoped at some point in time you’d create one. Thank you and look forward to trying this one out!
I hope you like it :) The chase article has had a few runs at the content poll, and I'm glad it won. I've been wanting to do it for a while. It's just pure fun, no big roleplaying issues tackled or overarching rules. Just people chasing each other and making a mess of things along the way lol
Awesome! I've lost count of how many times my heroes are either giving chase to something or fleeing for their lives! More often the latter if I'm honest, but either way I'm very keen to give the chase system a try 🏃
