Mythic Magazine #44
Greetings Mythicists! The latest issue of MM is ready, and is packed full of dungeony goodness.
This issue is a big one, clocking in at around 80 pages. A big chunk of that are tables, because there's a dungeon adventure in here that requires a lot of them!
So let's run down what's going on here:
The Crypts of Kozen Crest: This is a solo fantasy adventure, classic dungeon crawl quest. While this can be used as a standalone adventure, it's also a random dungeon generator for any fantasy game.
Running Solo Slice Of Life Adventures: Some thoughts on how to get an everyday, slice of life experience from a solo adventure.
I think the last time I addressed dungeon crawls was way back in issue #3. This time around goes into more detail about this particular dungeon, the story leading up to it, and special tables for things like treasure and traps.
Happy adventuring! :)

Having lots of fun with this adventure! Just about to dive into the underground keep of restless dead, and a land frozen in time. I really like how the scene setups walk you through expectations and give you ideas about the events. It makes me want to apply this format to some of the published adventures I have laying around. Also want to try some of the more open adventure sites like in Forbidden Lands or Hex Crawl Chronicles with this format. Thanks!
Thanks so much for the feedback Stone, I'm glad you like it! I appreciate your comments about the scene setups and suggestions. That's something I want to use more in the future.
Fantastic issue! Just started skimming it and I'm already ready to break out the dice ;)
Excellent, thank you :) Rating high on the "ready to break out the dice" scale is something I love to hear!
It's just an amazing piece of art you created. The kozen kest is a really cool adventure that I am looking forward to play during my Holliday. And it's also a really cool tool to plug into adventure to prepare dungeons. I am impressed how you come up with all those briljant ideas
Thank you so much, Thomas :) It really was a blast to make. Good luck with your adventure, I'd love to hear how it pans out. And congrats on your upcoming Holiday!
For me MM is always the highlight of the month ;-)
I just uploaded a revised version of this issue, typos fixed!
Thank you for the kind words! :) This was another fun issue to make. I just realized I did not spell check the file, so there are a few errors throughout. I'll post a new file a little later today.
Thanks!
Thanks!
Lok so forward to each magazine release! 😊
Thank you, Tana!
Just in time!
