Aaron did his own running in the freeway chase. He was a track star and he outran the stunt guy that was supposed to do it.
I'm THRILLED that we got to go to space in EPISODE 2! And that someone put on the suit in EPISODE 2! I was worried it was gonna be oh yeah they'll wear the suits in the final episode. Praying John gets to put it on before then too.
I think there is more than one manhunter. the fact that the town was completely empty when the town hall was going on. like not one person was out and about? also, the hospital being completely empty, the equipment being brand new and fresh out of the crate. things are staged to look like a town, but doesn't act like a town. ALSO, the coach at the meeting, seemed like he was caught off guard when the sheriff said "coach you had something you wanted to say" he responds with "oh yeah, right". he could have just been flustered because Hal was there. or he coould have have been fumbling with what to say to keep this small town charade going.
I agree. Everyone has been body snatched. Definitely the sheriff too. He definitely didn’t say sinestro when he slept. And she had to distract him from questioning the empty hospital.

HBO shows always have me thinking about the potential twists. Wondering if Ep 1 ended with the end of act 2 and we’ll get more context by, like, Ep 6.

Great episode. i love the slow build and steady lore dump. Kyle Chandler is nailing it. Were those aliens that abducted John possibly red lanterns? Is Luthor the benefactor? SO many questions!
