What happens when you cross the border?
Today I have something different to share.
Before anything else, this needs to be said clearly: Tiny Worlds only exists because people believed this work was worth supporting. That belief made something rare possible. Time. Time to go deeper, refine ideas, and push this project beyond what would be obvious or convenient.
Tiny Worlds have become a kind of refuge. They allow us to live and tell the stories we care about without compromising our saves across generations. They are small worlds, yes. But that limitation is precisely what creates density.
The fewer Sims being simulated, the better their behaviors become.
Tiny Worlds don’t just look more alive. They are more alive.
While working on the next Tiny World, planned for release by the end of this month, I found myself reflecting more deeply on this philosophy. Willowridge, my most recent world, marked an important turning point. It led me to a more artisanal approach to world-building, closer to assembling a scale model than simply filling a map.
That process led to a simple realization:
Tiny Worlds don’t need to exist in isolation forever.
What happens beyond the edge of a district?
What exists on the other side of the street, at the top of the hill?
What if crossing that boundary didn’t end the experience, but expanded it?
Each Tiny World can remain focused, dense, and intentional.
But it can also become part of something larger when the player chooses.
From that idea came the next step in the evolution of Tiny Worlds.
When a player owns two Tiny Worlds, they gain access to a third version: a unified world that merges those districts into a single, playable experience.
The original worlds remain intact, perfect for controlled and focused saves.
But alongside them exists a connected version, where these places meet, interact, and evolve together, creating a broader, more continuous experience without sacrificing density.
Less quantity. More intention.
And now, meaningful connections between worlds.
Think about how The Sims Unleashed expanded the neighborhood of The Sims 1. Now translate that concept into the language of Tiny Worlds. This is the direction I’m taking for my work in The Sims 3.
(still under construction)
More than an expansion, this approach is also about time. About showing how cities change as they grow. How small shifts accumulate. How a world never truly stays the same, but quietly transforms as new districts emerge.
This is how a familiar Tiny World meets the next one you’re about to play.

You're welcome! Yes, I've seen the text files but when I copy and paste the links from Melborne online the search reports that it cannot find it. I have the sims 3 pack for Melbourne but locating the CC from the text is still the issue. If you can help me I'd appreciate it, thanks!
No problem, here it is: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1cbyg4Pr7ESrD__lJlc5igtqdcNrP_ag4/view?usp=drive_link https://drive.google.com/file/d/1LQMX1yAWsdqtmgbiQcjKMy4Jb4n0_8b5/view?usp=sharing https://boringbones.blogspot.com/2023/09/set-de-rochas-de-simaddix-recoloridas.html https://boringbones.blogspot.com/2023/08/set-de-telhados-por-boring-bones.html Although the links may appear empty on Google Drive, you can download the content, as it is zipped.
Hi I just purchased two of your worlds, the first one is Norge, and the second one I purchased is Melborne. I'm having a hard time finding the requested CC for the worlds and I'm hoping that you can help me access them. I speak only English as well. Thanks!
Hi Dominique! Thank you so much, I really appreciate it! All the custom content used in Melbourne is available in the TXT file included with the world download, where you’ll also find the direct download link for the map. The same applies to Norge. Since this world uses a larger amount of custom content, I’ve already included my own creations directly in the download to make the installation process easier and more convenient. The purchased TXT file contains all the necessary installation instructions, including the map download link and a list of the custom content used. Everything is written in English to help non-Portuguese-speaking players, and I hope this makes the whole process as smooth and simple as possible. Thanks again, and I hope you enjoy it! 😊
