Honestly, I'm confused.
Okay, elephant in the room. At this point most of us have seen the screenshot regarding EA's policy on Mods and how people are allowed (or rather not) to make money from creating them. I've been emotional and heartbroken because there is a likelihood I can no longer release my work on early access. If this is the case...I will probably take a hiatus from releasing poses. I've been working on a wedding posepack that is 103 INDIVIDUAL POSES. To imagine being forced to release it without compensation for the time and effort it took...it's crushing me. I will be releasing what few posepacks are currently exclusive for the Obsessed tier and will be re-working tiers to only include early access. The way I see it, a Patreon tier membership is a donation for me to continue my work and I will be maintaining early access benefits until EA releases a more clarified statement regarding specifically early access.
I have been applying for jobs out in the real world, and have not even gotten a single interview out of the dozens of jobs I've applied for. Patreon (and now Twitch) are the only two ways I make money as a full-time stay-at-home mom. Your support is literally my livelihood. I'm distraught and torn because I cannot simply create this content for free when it takes so much time and effort, especially when I strive to bring the absolute best work I possibly can to be worth your memberships.
If EA does release a new statement forbidding early access, I don't know what I'll do. I can't pay bills on hope alone that people will simply donate via Kofi or PayPal or even right here on Patreon. You all are the most supportive crowd I've ever met and I'm so grateful.I know a Patreon tier membership can be cancelled anytime, but I really do rely on every single one that comes through. I keep breaking down in tears because posemaking is my passion and it is a joy to get paid to do what I love. But I can't survive by publishing free content. I just can't. I'll try to stop rambling for the moment, but just know that whatever happens I love all of you so much and I'm so grateful for your support of my work—y'all work hard for your money and to support me with that money is an honor I don't take lightly.

I really hope they're only cracking down on the peoeple who drag out paywalls forever and not genuine modders/creators like you who are earning the money in an honest way with a standard early access. So many modders would have to stop and the community would be made so much worse for it :( When I read the statement, it seemed to only be about the perma paywalls, unless I misread something. Hopefully that's the case
The moment I saw this, I thought of you. I know and understand how much you rely on this for income. This is not fair. You work so hard. I have a feeling this is a corporate thing and not the sims team. Love you and your content so much! And I'm always here for you no matter what!
