Development Update 26

It's the middle of January. The perfect time for a longing gaze towards the outside world. I don't know about you, but where I live, it's a beautiful day. And as long as you can observe it from somewhere inside, you're not at risk of freezing to death. So If you don't hear from me for at least two months, you know what happened. I tried to touch grass, and the cold got to me.

Speaking of colds. I've been sick since the beginning of the new year. 

^^ Do you see what I did there? Because cold has two meanings in English, and... Yeah... Anyway. I know I'm funny. That's why you're all here. It's for sure not because I create videogames where you can slip into beautiful fantasies. And of course it's not because of the sex scenes. I mean how could it? There arent that many to begin with :D

So let's talk about it. To be honest, there isn't much to report. As I said, I've been out for a couple of days, and the times I felt good enough to work, I spent to do the bare minimum. For example translating the new update to German a day before I published it. I admit, I could have done that sooner. But then I might have done nothing productive that first week of the year. 

It was good to cure my boredome... Thinking back on it, it wasn't optimal for my recovery. One of the many reasons, why I'm still stuck with what could have been a minor cold.

By the way, I'm 95% fine already. I just bring up the cold as an excuse why I haven't done that much for the game these past two weeks.

So what have I done? 

I mapped out the scenes for the next four updates (ep5, ep5.5, ep6, and ep6.5). I'm not sure If I still did that last year though... And just didn't mention it in the new year report. What I am sure, is that I haven't mentioned it in a dev update yet. I still need to add a couple of scenes because right now, the outline is neglecting some of the story lines. But all in all, I'm quite happy with where things are heading. 

Today I started writing. I'm a bit short of 500 words. It's only the first scene, so this is to be expected. I think today I'm going to reach 1,000 words. Episode 5, if I had to guess, I think it will need around 13,000 words, so there is still a fair bit to go. 

We are getting dangerousely close to the time where I have to concentrate on University.  I aim to bring out the next update before the stress begins, but as always, no guarantees.
