Christmas Announcement
It's that time of the year again. I'm back, and I'm announcing presents.
Don't mind those weirdoes who did Christmas cards and asked for cross-promotion. Those are all the safe-for-work images. The rest need to stay behind a paywall because of Patreon. I haven't played much of anything lately (these past two years), so this isn't an endorsement. I don't know many of those games. Still, getting your game in front of like-minded people is always hard. I think this is a good way of doing it. Check out the images. Maybe you will find something you like.
Now back to the main event. You've heard right. There will be presents! It just so happens that I have two releases ready to be published right around Christmas.
First of all, I will release v0.3.1 of A Familiar World. We have 26 jigsaw puzzles and seven scenes you can unlock. I'm not sure if it's clear, but the scenes are a Prequel to my other game, A Foreign World, so even if you're not a fan of jigsaw puzzles, it's worth checking out. And if you are a fan of jigsaw puzzles, then you will have a field day with this one. There are now Achievements, so that's fun.
Release date A Familiar World v0.3.1: December the 22nd
And the second present is A Foreign World Episode 2. This one includes about 12.000 words and 200 images. There are also a few animations. Things are getting spicy. The feedback I received for this release is very positive, so it's worth checking out.
Release date A Foreign World - Episode 2: December the 23rd
Now, that's an announcement.
There is way more to talk about. So buckle up. I haven't posted anything for weeks, and I had one of my more productive months.
A Familiar World will launch on Steam on the 09th of January with a 20% launch discount. For now, it seems like it's going to flop, but I'll still have 20 days to turn things around. I'm struggling even to get 100 wishlists. I would need bout 50 times that for Steam to promote me.
Speaking of turning things around. I'll be spending more time promoting my stuff on different platforms. Today I created a Deviant Art Account. I'll post a few things there, so if you're on that platform, you should check it out.
I'll be posting on Instagram, Twitter, and Reddit until people start noticing me. That should work, right?
And for those who don't mind a non-English native speaker speaking English, I have a YouTube channel where I will try a thing or two. It's limited because I can't post anything NSFW there, but I'll figure something out. Today, for example, I posted a video where I solved an SFW puzzle that's part of A Familiar World's upcoming release.
A Foreign World will launch on Steam on the 06th of February. There will probably also be a launch discount. Whishlisting this one might be beneficial. This one is looking way better. I'm currently at 1,300 wishlists, and I haven't done a lot of marketing yet.
Recently I added another Trailer that showcases the gameplay, and my daily wishlists went up significantly. This might be because of cross-promotion, but I'm an optimist. Hopefully, those numbers will stay up, so the game will become a success.
If you want to see the Trailer, you'll have to go directly to Steam because it's too spicy for Youtube.
I also did a short trailer for A Familiar World. As I said, I was a busy bee these past few days. It's also too spicy for Youtube.
So, I hope you guys are ready for the next two days. I'll need to make some final adjustments, but then those releases will go up straight to Patreon.
Most of you will hear from me again before Christmas, but for those of you who aren't Patreons, I already wish you happy holidays and an excellent start to the new year!
