Development update 1

It's been almost two weeks since my last release. I won't kid myself. I could probably write all my 3 Patreons a nice personal message where I explain my progress on the game, but I shouldn't start a habit that I know I won't be able to keep up when this game eventually explodes in popularity.

So, what did I do these past few days? I read the feedback I got, spent some time not actively working on the game, and then returned to it. By now, I have produced about 20 renders, which isn't a lot since I probably need over 200. I outlined the story for day two but didn't write it. And I tried to learn how screens work in renpy because I want to relocate the part of choosing the names of your characters away from the start of the game. 

Those that follow me on Instagram already saw my attempt at an in-game menu. And it sort of works. It's just not user-friendly. There are still multiple things that will annoy people that try to play the game. It already took me a few days, and I'm afraid I must put in more work until I'm happy with it.

The picture above shows a new environment that I created this morning. It's a hallway on the school's second floor, which looks nice.

One last thing. We are already in the middle of June. I won't be able to work on the game for a few weeks in July, so if I cannot put out a new release in the next few weeks, there won't be one for a while. I'll do my best to avoid this scenario, but I still have a life, and this VN takes up a reasonable amount of time.
