Development Update 64

Hello everybody, how are you doing, guys?

Well, I’m talking to myself, so I’m going a little insane. All good, though.

Episode 9 is fairly far into development, if not mostly done. Episode 9.5, on the other hand, is what’s giving me a headache. More specifically, the text. I’m about 5,000 words in, and things feel a bit plain. That would be perfectly fine for an in-between update, but this one is supposed to lead up to the finale. That means I should probably come up with something more.

I’m currently thinking: maybe I should just write it the way I outlined it. I’ve been stuck here for a couple of days already, and the update is already, like, a seven out of ten. Do I really need to push it to a nine? Maybe I should just put more thought into the finale and nobody will notice.

I’m leaning toward the latter, to be honest.

Anyway, the preview image that comes with this post is from Episode 9, not 9.5, which is where I’m currently stuck. Good times.

There aren’t many women left who haven’t seen at least some sort of development with the MC. Can you guess who Episode 9 mainly focuses on? Maybe it’s Monique. She is part of the image, right?

Jokes aside, I’m not going to spoil anything. Episode 9 will have a couple of scenes that might surprise you, but I’ll let you discover those yourself when playing through the update. You can expect it to go into beta access within the first few weeks of February.
