Got the same problem with the kitchen smoke detector. For some food it's more of a cooking timer. Enjoy the ribs!! Sux about kittie tho. Check with the vet to see how many times you can use the same needle. A dull one can cause pain.

Oh, we got a big 100 pack of needles, and they're pretty cheap. We only use each one once.
