Ask the Cast! (Open to All)

Hey, y'all -- Teri, here!

One thing I really wanted to pursue from the very start of planning Mythos was to have a sort of interactive experience with the players outside of the game. Thus we get things like the character interviews, the wallpaper polls, the teaser pictures, and how almost every single thing I post contains some kind of information or clue about the game world (if you know where to look).

There's a new thing I'd like to try out -- potentially an ongoing thing, if it proves to be popular enough: I'm giving you the chance to talk directly to the cast. You don't have to wait for Jessica Lee to ask something! You can ask them yourself.

All you have to do is send me your questions through any of the many channels available (Patreon message, Twitter @9ofswordsgames, the Discord channel, a private message on a certain adult gaming forum, reply to this post, etc.) Tell me which character you're talking to and what you want to ask.

There's a few rules (because of course there is).

- You can ask as many questions as you like, but please limit it to one per character. So yeah, you can go down the list and ask every single character one question, if you wanna.

- You can literally ask anything; it doesn't have to be related directly to the Mythos story. You can ask them what it's like to be in a game, or who their favourite musician is, or why their creator is such a benevolent and lovely goddess.

- The characters are replying as themselves. What does this mean? It means that if you ask Sophia and B the exact same question, they're probably going to have different answers (and possibly comment on how you asked them both the same questions). If you're rude to them, they may not be so nice to you. If you've ever been to a convention panel with open questions from the audience, think of it working just like that.

- I'm instructing them not to give out spoilers... though I'm betting some of them will let something leak if the right question is asked.

- You can ask any character that's been revealed to the public in any way. The main cast (Kylie/Kyle, Lisa, Tara, Sophia, B, Rain, Mara, and Monica) are of course viable, but so are any characters that have been in the character interviews (such as Jessica Lee, Sylvia, Cecil), characters that have had art reveals (such as Rin, Lilith, Aiden), and even characters that have had their pictures shown without any other context (like the people in that green glowy picture, the redhead girl running with an armload of scrolls). A note to beta testers: characters in Chapter Two that haven't been revealed in any way, but are in the test build (I think there's only one of those) are off-limits.

- You can ask me questions at any time, and I'll just answer those myself. This is only for asking the characters questions!

- (Sigh) And I guess I gotta address the elephant in the room... you can ask the cat questions. But it's a cat. Like... I hope you won't expect anything verbose. Because cat.

"But Teri!" you may be saying, because you're reading this post out loud and I just made you say it, "you throw out so many teasers and pictures, how can I possibly remember all of these potential characters to talk to?"

I knew you'd ask! Because I just wrote you asking it! But to help you out... here's all the characters you've seen so far!
