Friday Update - July 2nd, 2021

It's July! Holy crap is it hot out there.

I believe I have finally hunted and squished all the bugs in the first beta test, which means I can resume forward progress on Chapter Two this long weekend. Some of the "fixes" needed for Chapter Two resulted in new renders needing to be made, just to make things look better. Thankfully, nothing had to be re-rendered; these are all just additional renders being added.

In addition to that, we've got a lot of music added in; the main theme has been extended, Tara and Sophia have their new themes, and there's some background music to set the tone for every scene. Yes, many of you will play muted -- I do that myself to other games, so I don't fault you for it! But for those who want music, we got the musics!

Morgana's new job has her right now technically working two jobs; she's doing her final stint at her current job in the evenings while doing orientation and training during the day. While she adapts to this, she doesn't really have the time to work on Mythos, so I'm taking over the music for now. It's likely she won't be able to get fully back on the project until I start Chapter Three... which shouldn't be too much longer, I don't think!

... no, you're not getting a release date estimate. Nice try!
