THE GARGLE BLASTERS ANNOUNCE NEW LEAD GUITARIST

The chicks are already making a comeback! After losing their lead guitarist a week ago under weird-as-hell circumstances, the Gargle Blasters have reformed as "Area 42", and revealed that they just got a new guitarist! Like the other members of the all-girl group, this new rockerette goes only by a single name - "Ashe".
Last night, the remaining members of the band (Rami, Echo, and Anna) made a surprise appearance on WETT 6, being interviewed by Jessica Lee to tease that the band was already reforming.
"It sucked to have to find a new guitarist," said Rami -- the band's drummer and de facto leader, "but with Ashe in the group, it's kinda cool. When she came to us, we all knew instantly that she was the right one."
"Plus," added bass player Anna, "now our first initials spell out 'Area', so we came up with the new name."
Oddly enough, Ashe herself did not appear alongside her new bandmates last night.
While nobody seems to know what made the band's last guitarist split from the group, some people are saying that it may have to do with their ill-fated battle of the bands against Crystal Shit.
Area 42 moves along at their typical lightning-fast speed, not only finding a new guitarist a week after losing one, but they've announced a new album!
"We have a private gig planned already for tomorrow night," Rami told the Bodymore Times this morning, "but after that we're getting right into the studio to start recording."
Rami then sent us the cover to their next album, so clearly they've already done some photoshoots with their new girl -- and gives us our first look at the new talent!
We're gonna be watching Area 42 real closely to see if the band takes a new direction with their new guitarist.
