Friday Update - March 18th, 2021

You know what I hate? Daylight Savings Time. It always takes me a full week to adjust to this outdated crap, and during this week I'm just continually sleepy and irritable. Add some nasty cramps on top of that, and this has just been a real shitty week.

With me being in my unnecessarily-time-shifted daze, my writing and coding abilities were worse than their baseline "barely passable", so I did the work of finalizing the character designs of everyone who is going to appear in Chapter Two.

"But Teri!" you say, though carefully because you know I'm still feeling grumpy, "we've seen all the character previews! Did you not save those?"

Of course I did! But... all the character previews I put out are all the characters you'll be seeing. My reveal of Mara should be proof of that. 😉

In Chapter One, I designed 12 characters: Kylie, Kyle, B, Lisa, Rain, Sophia, Tara, the Waitress, the Agent, Nadia, Garland, and the Cat.

For Chapter Two, you're going to be meeting 13 new characters: Mara, Becki (With An I), Cecil, Sylvia, Rin, Aiden, Desmond, Lowman, Rami, Echo, Anna, Jessica, and the Other Waitress.

The cast has doubled! And there's definitely a few names in there you probably don't recognize -- I have to keep some stuff up my sleeve.

"What about Lilith?"

What about her? 😈

Unless I get to writing a scene and realize I need yet another character, we should keep to 25 characters until Chapter Three.

Beyond designing the new characters (and tweaking a few of the ones that were already teased), I've done more of the renders from the first scene of Chapter Two -- what's making our Main Character drink so heavily in their kitchen? 🤔

Now I'm going to sleep for like 18 hours and hope that resets my internal clock, or at least makes up for all the sleep I've lost this week.

Have I mentioned I hate Daylight Savings Time?

Keep the Legends Alive!

- Teri 💜

PS - For those of you who aren't in my Discord: First of all, why not? Second, the water heater issue I mentioned two weeks ago was fixed relatively easily, all by myself. For those who know plumbing, it was just a matter of replacing my upper element; both thermostats and the lower element were fine. I even bought a multimeter just for this purpose (and to keep me from electrocuting myself).
