Magazine: Everywoman September 1941

Our first magazine for September is the September 1941 edition of Everywoman. Aside from that adorable cover artwork, my favourite feature in this issue is a spread with details of the variety of women's war work. The double-page chart offers suggestions based on current or previous employment and skills, provides information including pay scales and lodging arrangements, and even details post-war prospects for the different roles. A fascinating insight into life on the Home Front. 

The magazine also includes all the usual make do and mend, fashion & beauty, household hints and illustrated fiction you love.
