Free Pattern: Corazon Heart-Shaped Hat
What could be sweeter than a little heart-shaped percher pillbox hat?
I love all things heart-shaped, and spent many years wanting the perfect heart-shaped hat for Valentine’s Day until finally deciding to make my own!
The pattern and tutorial is one I shared on my blog a couple of years ago, but I wanted to add it to the Patreon line-up too. It now comes with a full instruction booklet like all my Patreon patterns, and the printable template includes a measurement gauge to check your printer settings.
The Corazon hat is constructed over a buckram base, which provides the structure for the outer fabric. It can be made in felt or a variety of other fabrics to match your outfit (suitable fabrics are suggested in the attached instructions).
A quick make, this hat can easily be constructed in an afternoon and is the perfect finishing touch to any of your 1940s or 50s outfits.
