Introducing the Amourette Dress
After multiple delays due to my initial plan not working out, and illness, and grading issues, I'm beyond thrilled to finally introduce my first pattern for 2023, the Amourette dress - just in time for for Valentine's Day.
Named for its unique heart-shaped midriff, the Amourette dress is a personal favourite, and a pattern I've been looking forward to sharing ever since I started my Patreon page.
The Amourette dress comes with two neckline variations and two sleeve options, including a novelty puff sleeve with ruched panel which I've fallen in love with.
I'm also very excited to announce that I have extended my pattern size range! The Amourette dress is available in sizes US 4-20 / UK 8-24, all with four cup size variations.
Worn with my heart shaped pillbox hat tutorial, which is available free on my blog at https://www.tuppencehapenny.com/blog/tutorial-heart-shaped-pillbox-hat-with-printable-templates
Note: This pattern is just for Patreon subscribers. Please do not share these downloads externally, so that I can keep creating exclusive new content just for Patrons!

Will previous patterns be updated to accommodate the new size range? Would love to make a few Sightseeing skirts but I have a 37" waist and I'm not sure if size 24 will fit
I really really really want to expand the size range for previous patterns, but it comes down to afforadability! I didn't even intend to do multi-size patterns until I hit 100 patrons, but I was too excited to wait haha! But grading in multiple sizes - particularly with the separate cup size options - is a substantial investment. New patterns are the priority for now, but definitely as this community grows it will make it possible for me to reissue older patterns in the wider size range.
this is so sweet and has all my favorite things! 💖 and that hat is amazing!!! i need to make this one soon!
You know how much I love all things heart shaped! 💖
this is a very lovely pattern!
I’m so glad you like it!
This was worth the wait. I've always admired this dress from your Facebook and Instagram pages. I'm looking forward to trying it out now for myself. Will be also adding berry corsages to mine as this really sets it off. Thank you for all your hard work it's beautiful.
Aww I’m so glad you like it!
Very lovely! I just purchased some liverpool knit, it looks very similar to a rayon crepe but is a knit. Do you think it'll work as well?
I haven’t tested the pattern in a knit, but it could work as long as the knit is quite stable. You may want to size down 1-2 sizes to compensate for the stretch.
Oh exciting! Very beautiful 😍
Thank you!
