Having issues uploading the Dark Souls videos to Patreon
Hey all. Patreon doesn't seem to like the file size of the Dark Souls videos. Because I'm rendering them in 60fps, they are quite large, and Patreon really isn't a very good video repository. It took about 8 hours for the first video to upload and process. The 2nd part of the series keeps timing out after hours, and gets stuck at 91%. Tried it a few times yesterday, and it kept repeating this failure.
It's looking like I won't be able to provide ad free versions of these videos for you all, and I apologize.
Also, because they're quite large, they will also take up quite a bit of the room that Patreon gives for videos, so I don't think it's feasible.

Maybe I am way off the mark here but I try and exclusively watch your videos on YT so that your views collect revenue for you. Having them uploaded here and on the forum, three places, seems like it could be excessive and redundant work for you. Maybe cut one of the latter two out of the equation? Unless tons of peeps are watching them on these other platforms. That all being said, I also use a YT ad blocker, so it's cake for me to watch on YT. There's no fucking way I could watch YT with ads. SO, probably not helpful at all aye?
No problems! I always watch your stuff in YT anyway, to give you the views
The only way would be to upload it, e.g., as an unlisted YT playlist or sth. That probably breaks just 100 Patreon rules. The simplest is to just go with one version for everyone. You tried hard, and there is no point in wasting more of your time on this. HeavyCardboard had a similar problem recently, I think (huge video on Patreon's only) I haven't had time to watch it yet, but I'm looking forward to it. As a long-time DS fan, I'm sure it will be hilarious.
