That clap at the end was such a mind fuck when I first saw it. I think I fell to the floor to process it lol. Basically, it's implied that when someone with powers dies in physical contact with someone else, they can transfer their powers to someone else. In the first episode, we saw Xaioshi die and transfer his powers to Lukwong before going through the rest of the seasons. The clap here confirms that the Lukwong throughout seasons 1 and 2 has already been through all of this once and at the end of it Xaioshi dies so Lukwong is trying to prevent his death. HOWEVER I believe there's another scene somewhere (it's been a while) that implies that if Lukwong does save Xaioshi, Lukwong dies instead and Xaioshi goes way back in time to save Lukwong as well, leading back to his death, Lukwong getting his powers, going back to save him again, etc. Effectively they've created a time loop. Which is the reason (I think) why the red haired guy shows up to kill them in the first place. WILD show with cool consistency around the time travel powers!

Just for your information Danny your gonna need to watch the Bridon Arc before season 3, they are listed as two separate seasons on Crunchyroll but you can't skip it and go straight into season 3 cause you will be so lost and confused

Loved this series so far! After watching a couple eps of your reaction, I pitched it to my mom (who has been super against anime forever) and we watched it together. She got completely hooked and is now the one asking me when we can watch the Bridon Arc. Always psyched to see your reactions and the pod bc it makes finding great anime way easier.

I really loved the part when Lu Guang screamed after seeing Cheng Xiaoshi being shot. I felt the voice actor really captured just how utterly ruptured seeing that made him, so so sooo good. Lu's reaction there and the beginning when Cheng Xiaoshi rubbed his face against Lu Guang's before sneaking a high-five were the only parts that felt like BL to me, which I don't mind at all since storytelling is way too good for me to be sad about the lack of BL-type stuff anyway. Very much looking forward to you doing the Bridon Arc!
