Three new regional mirrors are live

I’ve opened three new PlayPhrase mirrors for India, Russia, and Brazil.

Until now, visitors from India had to connect to servers in Europe, which wasn’t particularly fast. The new India mirror also serves nearby countries, so don’t be surprised if you’re automatically redirected to in.playphrase.me.

The Russian mirror is intended for Russia only. Roskomnadzor restrictions have made access to PlayPhrase and its videos unreliable there, so ru.playphrase.me should help keep the site accessible.

The Brazilian mirror serves all of Latin America, not just Brazil. Visitors from the region may be automatically redirected to br.playphrase.me.

If you’re in one of these regions, please let me know whether the automatic redirect works and how the connection speed feels now. Report any bugs in the comments.

Want to try them directly?

• India (also nearby countries)

• Russia (Russia only)

• Brazil (Latin America)

  UPD:

I thought it made sense to add country-specific addresses too. They use the same regional servers, but keep the local language and country context correct.

South Asia: Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, Maldives.

Latin America: Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Guyana, Peru, Paraguay, Suriname, Uruguay, and Venezuela.
