Patreon Updates + New Incentives(?)
Hey there! Been awhile since I've done an update like this. Hope you've had a great Halloween, and an amazing November ahead of you!
1. Apple Is Applying A 30% App Store Fee To Memberships
Some of you may notice an increase in prices for Patreon memberships. This was unfortunately due to Apple requiring Patreon to use their iOS in-app purchase system which adds on the additional fee.
HOWEVER, this only applies to Patreon members who purchased memberships through the iOS app. You can still subscribe at the original prices I've set through Patreon's website.
You can read more about this here: https://news.patreon.com/articles/understanding-apple-requirements-for-patreon?utm_campaign=241031-IAPSB-Creators-on-SB
2. Introducing Patreon Member Credit Wall
This has been an incentive I've been thinking about implementing for awhile. However, due to the nature of the *AHEM content I've been putting up here, I was always a bit wary. So I'm going to be leaving this decision up to you folks!
Should I start crediting Patreon members at the end of my YouTube videos, only allow it for higher tiers ($10 tiers and above), or do I keep y'all private?
If the votes are in favor of having the credit wall, I will of course be asking for each member's consent before I add you onto the credits.
3. Audio Dramas Incoming (Also, Writers Wanted)
Good news! We've finally got our first NSFW audio drama in the works! The script is written (thanks, Syvis!), now all I have to do is edit it, hit record and jazz it up a little.
I'd also love to bring more audio dramas here on Patreon, but that means I'm going to need to find a writer for these. If you're interested in becoming a writer for some of the audio dramas produced here (SFW or NSFW), do let me know through DMs and we'll see how it goes!
For SFW audio dramas, these will be released for free members a week after paid members get them.
4. More Incentives!
Look, y'all know I'm a silly goober, and I'd love to come up with more silly content for you. At the moment, I'm reorganizing some of the Patron tiers to include additional incentives (Do y'all like the new Mochi-themed tiers?)
At the moment, I've thought about introducing monthly Voiceover Requests for higher tier patrons where you can send a short script (under 100 words) or a meme, and I'd voice it.
These Voiceover Requests will then be uploaded on Patreon for y'all to see and if it's SFW, I'll also be releasing them for free members a week after paid members get them.
I'll also be having the Voiceover Requests be a voting option below. You can choose more than 1 answer for the poll below by the way!
5. Our Discord Server Is Back!
After having my account hacked, we unfortunately lost the old server. However, we've got a new one up and running and I'll soon be implementing the Patreon integration so members can nab their vanity role!
But, if you'd like to join the new server before then, you can join us right here! https://discord.gg/EyQQuWAxmS
The Conclusion, FINALLY
That being said, thank you all so much for supporting me all this while. If you do have other ideas on what I could do for Patreon, do let me know in the comments and I'll see if it's viable to do! I hope to see you for the next update!
