Two big maps: An Arms Market [50x70] and a Forest with a cannibal feast [40x60] (free version)

Today we’re visiting a weapons bazaar on a noble’s estate, where you can check out the latest products from the weapons industry (visitors need an invitation). Noble children can play with bows and shoot at animals with ballistas while their parents shop and sit down to drink, brandishing their latest decorative giant swords.

Possible activities at this bazaar

• Classic shooting contests with bows, crossbows, axes, catapults, ballistas, or trebuchets

• Drunken, vain princes’ sons want to show off their newest armor and swords and will quickly start a duel if anyone lets themselves be provoked.

• An armor merchant has a new set of magically enhanced armor to offer. He wants to demonstrate it to a prince and is offering a few pieces of magically enhanced plate armor to whoever puts on the armor and lets themselves be shot at.

• A skilled thief with a bag from another dimension is on the loose in the market. A two-meter sword has already disappeared. Whoever catches the thief can keep the bag.

• The Albatros Baliste 269 is the most innovative item on offer. It features a triple-coiled barrel designed to fire either multiple projectiles at once or a single projectile an extremely long distance. The other merchant selling the standard balista wants the firing demonstration to go as spectacularly wrong as possible—and he’s paying a princely sum for it. How can your players manipulate the demonstration?

• Enemies of the prince plan to raid the festivities at nightfall. Although all the noble feel safe surrounded by all these weapons, can they actually handle them?

The second map takes us to the nearby forest, where cannibals like to gather and throw parties.
