NEW!! CLOUD-BASED UPDATES
Install the Baileywiki Content Module from Foundry's module directory. Activate the module and connect to Patreon in your world via the module settings.
Looking for Dungeondraft Assets?
WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE BAILEYWIKI CONTENT MODULE?
All 2D and 3D content is available through the BCM. Just authenticate in the module settings and download what you want.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
The content updates monthly and is downloadable from the cloud via the Baileywiki Content Module. If you stop being a subscriber, you get to keep your assets. You just won't get updates.
HOW DO I INSTALL IT OR UPDATE IT?
Find installation instructions for Self-hosted or Forge our FAQ document.
WHAT IF I UNSUBSCRIBE?
NEW PATRON? START HERE: https://baileywiki.com/getting-started — install steps and setup now live there instead of the old Google Doc. If you already have a Patreon pledge, connect it on that page so your maps and assets unlock. (AI and Software Tools live on baileywiki.com and are not included in a Patreon pledge.)
If you unsubscribe, no problem. You'll keep any assets you've downloaded and maps you've created. You just won't get future updates until you resubscribe. But be sure to back up your content! We don't take responsibility for you managing your own downloaded content.
ABOUT THE PREMIUM MODULE
This Baileywiki Content Module (BCM) installs new Compendiums to your Compendium folder, with the "baileywiki" name. And then it gives you the ability to download all tiles and audio.

when will there be an update for version 14?
Joined for the Landing Pages module. How do I get it? Advanced tier, but can't find it anywhere.
It's the last category in the 2D Scene Browser.
With the new cloud-based system in place, does that mean that people who unsubscribe will lose access to the assets/modules?
If someone leaves, the assets they have downloaded will stay with them, and there will be (coming very soon) a function to "download all" so they can scoop up all assets that they have paid for before leaving. They just won't have the ability to download new content from the cloud until they resubscribe. We may develop a "smarter" way to do this in the future, but this should work for most people.
v13
When trying to download from foundry I get the error below: Error: Unable to load valid module manifest data from "https://download.bailey.wiki/maps/module.json . Any guidance?
That's the free module. It's not v10 ready and Patreon's don't need it or want it
I Feel the dev cycle through Dev - Testing and release for the Foundry team was not well controlled
Are these links still good for v10?
We do not yet officially support V10. The main blocker is the Token Attacher dependency, which is in the works. Hopefully within the next week.
Hey Baileywiki! Great work all around for everything...you're the one creator I always need. Quick idea about the Landing Page is maybe add elements like boots, helms, wands, staves, etc.. to represent the different magical items in the game while the group has some of those possessions in their party.
Just an idea!
Hey Baileywiki I can't seem to get the levels-3d-preview to work at all...
Have you stopped by discord? That's not much to go off of. https://discord.gg/wgPbnfgJAJ
Hey Baileywiki !
City 03 is giving bad link error.
Sorry, Zephyr confirmed some bad links. Just updated everything so you can try again.
Same.. on 3 I'm getting a missing temples-03.zip error
Are you using the new Augus links that we just posted a few minutes ago?
City 03 & 04 are giving me bad link errors.
You caught us right in the middle of our July-to-August transition. New links posted above. Let me know if you have success!
I got the error "baileywiki-maps-premium-towns | ImportEntities was called with a reference that is not registered with Foundry. Double check for typos between your manifest.json and module initialisation files. If you are *not* the creator of this module, then the issue is likely that a compendium pack from a different game system is being referenced. You can ignore this warning if so. Received the following call details: Object { searchPack: "baileywiki-maps-premium-towns.journals", entityNames: (1) […], entities: (1) […], type: "journals" } scene-packer.js:950:21 baileywiki-maps-premium-towns | ImportEntities was called to search for pack "baileywiki-maps-premium-towns.journals" which is not found. Check for typos in your module setup." when opening the Sleeping Giant Scene from the Town module, it looks like it hasnt been changed to use nuts and bolts yet
Can you come to my discord and post in the "report a problem" channel? https://discord.gg/wgPbnfgJAJ
Pasting the links above in the module installer returns a "no valid manifest" error
There is an intermittent issue that seems to be happening. It usually resolves in a couple of minutes but if you can ping me on Discord to troubleshoot further.
I've tried to install District 04 into foundry however it loads everything Except the actors compendium, is there anyone else with this issue?
If you're using something other than dnd5e game system, it should prompt you to import a special actor compendium. Or it may just be hiding in your "Default" folder. Stop by discord and tag me there to troubleshoot from here... DISCORD: https://discord.gg/wgPbnfgJAJ
You can install Towns directly from the Bazaar. Then it won't count against your quota. Just connect your Patreon to your Forge account page.
I am trying to install the updated towns 3.11 on Forge and I am getting the following error "Failed to install module: Data Quota Exceeded." My account has space. Any idea how to proceed?
Why on Forge dungeon is still at 0.0.7 instead to 0.0.12? And why forge tell me there is an updgrade oc city from 0.0.3 to 0.0.2, that is actually a downgrade?
Forge is giving us problems ATM. Maybe related to the new distribution system. Hopefully will be resolved in a few minutes...
Definitely considering it. But it would have to raise the price. Worth it?
I would say no, I can cut and paste for a few dollars.
Was wondering if you might consider working with Foundry directly to get all your Patreon-only module.json files linked under their native Premium section? Have to say it's a huge PITA navigating to every Patreon creator’s site or Discord channel to manually hunt down manifest URLs, download zips, etc., when all of this could be automated from the admin console of my server. The Mad Cartographer already has all 17 of his premium modules linked directly on Foundry. And because I subscribe to him on Patreon, they automatically show up under my https://foundryvtt.com/community/[username]/subscriptions profile. It’s just too convenient of a way to publish premium content for professional creators to keep ignoring. It really has become a full-time job (that I now hate), and is pushing me to just stop supporting so many creators because it’s such a time-consuming mess to stay on top of all the super-secret, this-month-only, for-pay links. Thanks.
Looks like premium map pack and city 3 are same link
updated!
Wait, is Modular Town Premium Map Pack and The City District 03 - Temples supposed to have the same link? Not sure if its all included in there
updated!
The text has the Towns Module version still at 0.3.6
Fixed!
I was able to install modules 1 and 3 but for module 2 it is telling me I need to link it to my Patreon account. Not sure what to do. Thanks!
Are you on the Forge?
Thank you for this. i'm going to use it in a western game I'm running. and a bunch of it looks to be useful. I hope layers lets you see up with a faded token. guys can shoot down but it seems hard to shoot up.
forge wont let me update to 0.3.5 for the town map module. it says i am not authorize
Try refreshing your Patreon connection in your accounts page
After update, the Modular Town Premium Map Pack reads v0.3.4 not 0.3.5, if that matters. Foundry latest v9 stable.
I think it's just a numbering issue but the content should be there. Validating now. Standby...
Hi - i cant seem to get the Maps Towns module to update to 0.3.5. Using FVTT 0.8.9. Was waiting for an announcement from you guys that it was safe to update.
V9 is pretty stable and all necessarily modules now support it. So should be good to go, bit still backup your world just in case. You need to toggle the update lock, or if you're in Forge, there's a checkbox to unlock it)
Umm.. why is there a DungeonDraft map linked at the bottom?
It was a convenient place to put a terrain file that comes preloaded with terrains that match my art style. If you have Dungeondraft and Forgotten Adventures, then it's an easy way to generate terrains for the modular system if you need more than what I provide in the modules.
Hello, I'm new here and I was just wondering will these links get everything you're working on into Foundry or is this just one set of products?
Indeed, the 3 install manifests get you my entirety of Foundry content in 3 modules: Premium, Towns, and Dungeons. This includes Prefabs and the Modular systems, Scenes, Tiles, Sounds, Macros, Journal Entries, Roll Table, etc.
Best to troubleshoot on discord in the. #troubleshoot discord. I'm down with COVID and patreon doesn't get checked. DISCORD: https://discord.gg/wgPbnfgJAJ SETUP GUIDE AND FAQ: https://bit.ly/baileywiki-faq MODULAR SYSTEM GUIDE https://bit.ly/baileywiki-modular-system
just subscribed. pretty stoked to take the next step. modules 1 and 3 loaded to foundry just fine. foundry isnt accepting the town module link though
Dungeon System shows compatibility risk (0.7.10). Will that one be updated to 8+?
It just hasn't been updated. But it should be fine to install.
No, you won't lose anything. All the things you put into scenes will remain intact. You will just get an updated compendium that includes any new content or updates or fixes to existing content. The one exception is when there are "breaking changes", meaning a tile has been removed from the module altogether or it's path gets changed. These are very rare, and would only impact that tile if it appears in your world somewhere. To date, we have never done a breaking change.
Ok I get it now. New content is linked to a new Addy every month. I was hitting Update and getting errors. I see now ok. Thanks great stuff
Yeah, Foundry doesn't have a friendly way to do what I do, so I need to update my links every month. Kind of a pain but easy once you know it.
I get an "Installation Failed: Forbidden" on the Town Premium Pack. Others installed fine.
Should be fixed now. Sorry!
Module 1 & 3 work fine for me. I get an "Installation failed: end of signature directory record signature not found" error on Module 2.
This should be fixed now. Sorry!
Just installed in Foundry and i'm excited
Nice! Hit us on discord if you run into any problems.
I am getting frustrated trying to install the dungeon module.
Oh. Installing a module from a URL a basic Foundry thing. Just Google it. Or go here https://foundryvtt.wiki/en/basics/Modules "... Paste the manifest URL to the module being installed in the field at the bottom of the dialog"
What is the size of all 3 modules? I have 1 GB of game data on The Forge and it was all gone after I updated. All of it...
Forge users DON'T want to install the modules using the URLs. Instead, Forge users can install from the Bazaar and it takes up zero data. You have to connect your Patreon to Forge to do this. The one exception is the Dungeon module. That one has to be installed using the URL, but it's relatively small on size. Couple hundred Mb.
Sifting through this is so frustrating and confusing :(
Best to ask me directly on discord.
Will the Dungeon assets be included in the Forge bazaar one day? Installing it manually really eats into my storage quota on The Forge!
I hope to have a solution at some point. The Forge stopped accommodating new patreon-backed modules, so they threw the wrench without also offering an easy solution (other than, "increase your quota".
One anomaly I discovered; when working with the pre-built pieces, if you have the "About Face" module installed, it can be a bit maddening to place and move pieces because the module wants to reface the control token. I found just turning that module off before placing things then back on before I play helped my sanity. Hope that's useful for everyone. :D
Well, honestly, it's a really simple check box. Click it off to place assets and back on again when you're done. What's the alternative module called?
Yes, at a minimum you need Token Attacher to power all the prefabs. Check out this document for all the rest of the recommended modules... https://docs.google.com/document/d/1wC_ih_aeK_5vFD2IVd0Y6dOAInvuY-0jfUMggnzZ9kE/edit?usp=drivesdk And Let me know if this document is helpful. It's new and still under construction.
Do these modules have dependencies? do you recommend installing other modules with these to improve performance/gameplay?
If you're looking for the overhead town map, search for "map" in the Town scenes Compendium. If you're looking for the empty grass or cobble backgrounds, they are inside the tile sets within the module folders. The best way to find these paths is to find a sample scene that uses them and open its config to locate the file path.
Ok, thanks! It was the Cobble and Grass folders I was looking for. :D
One thing I saw in your vids and don't see in the compendiums... the large background map for city or for rural setting for the village. Is that something that wasn't included or am I doing it wrong? :D
Hello great content! Is there a way to activate the core maps without token attacher ?
Good question. All of the scenes in the Premium Module will work without Token Attacher. All of the prebuilt scenes in the Towns module should work without TA, but I've never thought someone would use the Town module WITHOUT also using TA, so I'm going to have to test that. Standby..
was getting crazy trying to find a suitable home for my alchemy professor. i'll try with the modular city buildings. is there any way to create a multi leveled house without changing scene?
There is. But you have to lay out each level on the same scene. Like how I did the Galleon map.
Copy and paste is your friend.
You keep updating the same post. That doesn't show up unless I click on the notification. If I just scroll through my patreon feed you basically don't exist
Oh really? I did not realize that at all. I guess I'll have to rethink my "keep it simple" strategy.
I love your work, but making a new post every month would do wonders for your brand
Oh thanks. But what do you mean? I post a major release at least twice a month.
Will the Modular Dungeon System be added to the Forge Bazaar at some point or will I need to do a custom download using the link?
The Church should be in your Premium module, Scenes Compendium. Come find me on discord and I'll help you find it.
If I have installed everything up to this point, how do I update? I added the updated links (above) to to my Install Modules, but, for example, the Church has not showed up.
Awesome! Thank you for the update!
Does each month's download link include previously released material, or does it merge the latest files in with the previous files? In other words, if I miss the February link, but install the March link, do I still get the February content?
Yes, you get all content with the current links. It's the same packages that keep expanding and updating over time. The links just change where those packages are located.
There are two types of updating you need to know. First, every month the install URL changes. I notify you when that happens and that's your prompt to grab the new URL. Just paste that URL into the installer and it will simply update your module with any new content. The second kind of update is any updates I do during that month. In this case, the URL doesn't change, and all you have to do is click the update button for the Baileywiki modules in Foundry, or "update all" which will update your Baileywiki modules automatically along with everything else. So all you really have to remember is to change the monthly update link, which I'll notify you about when it happens. Usually around the 2nd of the month.
To update these, if already installed, do we just do the install the same way? Pasting the Manifest URL into the Installer? I assume Deleting them would cause problems inside our games, but maybe not, as everything is coming from the Compendiums anyways. I am a bit curious what happens though if we have done an Import-All on the Scenes Compendium, but then an update occurs. Is there a good way to "re-import all" ?
Ahhh. Thank you.
I'm sure that I'm doing something wrong :-) I have used the link to install the module, but the premium content appear as locked.
Are you referring to the little lock symbol over the "Baileywiki" Compendiums that appear in your compendium tab in Foundry? That isn't a lock on the content. Just a safety lock to prevent you from accidentally changing the content. Just click one of the Compendiums and it will open in Foundry. From there, right-click any of the entries and choose "import" to import it into your world. And come to my Discord of you want more help. It's easier to chat there.
I'm assuming that the maps get updated on a regular basis in the Bazaar in the Forge as well? Thanks!
Yep, that's right. When I release new content, it updates to the private install link and to Forge. You're choice which one you want to use. They're exactly the same.
