Hi everyone, I just want to let you know, please don’t update your game for now and keep your EA App and Steam offline, because there is a bug where mods and CC cannot be read. Wait until EA and The Sims team fix this issue. But if you have already updated your game, please remove all of my mods.

I delete superstore mod, my save didn't load. But i am waiting, love this mod! I saw this post too late.. But this happend just today. Like literally i could play yesterday, SO i don't know whats up?

I forgot to take off auto updates. I am kicking myself so bad right now. I have most of your mods. I will be checking back daily to see when I can redownload them.
Is it still not working? There was another hotfix for the modding issue
this is why i jumped ship. counting the days for the release of paralives.
Honestly, Sims 4 is cooked when Paralives is released. The marketplace thing was another way to just siphon money out of players and underpay modders
Too late, it did it automatically. I think it was turned back on by EA after I did a repair last month. Now I only have a black loading screen. I had backed my mods, saves, and tray.
Some UI mods are giving the main menu black screen. For me it was Pancake& Mizore's Color Sliders
I don’t have offline mode but a lot of my save file and mods are taken out of the mod file and hanging out on my desktop
What do I do now that my sims got updated by itself through steam? I had no clue it will fuck it up so hard!! The screen is not even loading! I just closed it now since I can’t even play🤦🏻♀️
In steam you can turn off auto update
Probably has to do with the new creator store, I am surprised it took them this long to have one so they can make money from all the modding.
thats why you never update your game right after! You always have to wait a week or two until modders or EA fixes the issues! I learned this years ago from experience. Hope this helps. 🫰🏽
Whenever these updates occur, I've always taken the mods that I know will break, such as mods that affect gameplay, body sliders, overrides, traits, etc. But I'd never thought that this update would get removed and/or break body presets, skin details, hairs, and makeup... 💀

Keep it in offline mode until they fix it
I think remove ALL mods for the time being. Or don't play it until EA has sorted this out.
