It's a bot. People program these things to get people to call and steal their information. It happens everywhere online and it's just now come to the sims community hard core. If you see this, block the bot. No one respond to it. Block it and report it as fraud. The comment itself is harmless, just don't call the number.

I'm glad you're safe, we had our forum hacked a few months ago, it's amazing what you have to do to get your account back, we're almost the thieves. Everything's complicated on the net, but fortunately we come across good people who find solutions. Long live your art.

These spammers and hackers are increasingly getting worse! What's bad is they use VoIPs and it can make it next to impossible to track down the origination of these ruses. For example, I am currently job hunting and everything is done strictly through 3rd party headhunters like Indeed or LinkedIn. Embarrassed to tell my age, so I'll just say this, the last time I had to apply for a job, you went into the actual place that was hiring, filled out a paper application and if you got lucky, you might get a face-to-face interview, right then and there! Yeah, I believe that was 1997!? Omg!! The spammers and hackers are predominantly from countries such as China and India. You probably noticed the craziness right around the global pandemic. The scammers in China are generally people forced to work by gangs there and from what I've read, allegedly the gangs in China, make American gangs look like a bunch of wimpy high school bullies! A lot of these scammers' lives are literally at stake and in India, they have giant call centers or the employees work remotely and they are often their families' prominent source of income. They don't meet certain quotas, they don't have a job, and their family members go hungry. A lot of them work for employers who become rich off the felonies they are made to commit. Slaving away to make the rich cat even richer. Should we feel sorry for these people? Yes! They are humans who are being treated horribly! Should we let them take over our lives and livelihoods? No! We are just trying to play our favorite games. It's a form of escapism. If we are lucky to play the game on a pc, then we get our choice of awesome mod and cc creators! Thank you so much! ❤️. We aren't gonna stand for that BS and let them strip away the chance for our sims to live their best lives! At least I'm not. I have some bougie ass sims and as their deity, I make sure they live in the lap of luxury. Do not, under any circumstances interact or reply to these scammed. It takes very little and before you know it, they'll take everything from you. You record whatever form of communication they used, get your receipts and you report it to the Federal Trade Commission! Every last damn one of them. Cepzid, I am so sorry the sneaky snakes got in. Hand them their asses on a silver platter and keep making awesome custom content! Big fan of what you do!!♥️♥️
