I don't know what y'all used for the 'ice disc' recording, but christ it spooked me on my late night drive to work. I loved/hated it so much! Fantastic work as always, guys!
Haha, it got us to jump too in the final mixing phase (we forgot it was coming) - and it's a lot of ice sounds mixed together (skating, sheering, etc)

Did I somehow miss for this entire season that this isn't recording based like the other seasons? Like a character in the story isn't recording it in-universe? Or did that transition happen in an earlier season... I'm going crazy trying to remember, but obviously we wouldn't be able to hear Iffy's dream if it was an in-universe recording... Edit: Enjoying it so far, but also feels strange that the guardians are less prominent, I don't recall any mimicry so far in this season and none of the characters have seen them so far except Lewis who we didn't hear at the time of it happening.
Heya! So, if you actaully go back to Season 5, Episode 10, that was the transition from 100% found-footage, to mixed with real-time. Then the Echoes mini-series was 100% in real-time. And this Season 6 is real-time, and set in the modern year (not 2010 like Seasons 1-5). Hope that helps!
