What a ride! I sort of hope we get to see Jason again
Fingers crossed! He's a fun guy to work with :)
Care to explain how Jason shrugged off multiple stabs?
Tis but a scratch
I love that this gave just enough of a taste to make me hyped for new secrets and new White Vault seasons! Also the sound design was amazing, I listened with earbuds which I don’t always do and it was so much better.
Thank you! I'll pass those kind words about the sound design on over to Travis!
I loved Echoes. Wish it had played out over a few more episodes because I want to know ALL THE SECRETS NOW... but overall Echoes was a favorite storyline.
Some secrets are still under wraps... for now. ;)
Maybe it'll hit different if I binge Echoes all at once, but this has felt like the weakest installment thus far. Not saying I didn't like it, and I'm not trying to be negative or bring anybody down. I actually feel a little awkward leaving anything other than a glowing review (we all know what Bambi's mom said...), but you guys have given us enough great material, White Vault and otherwise, that I thought you were owed honest feedback. Compared to the other installations this one felt under developed... But I'm totally willing to accept that maybe IATA here, and there's a grander scheme in the works. Sorry if this comment is unwelcome. I don't mean to be rude, and I look forward to your next releases regardless. Thanks for the stories.
Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear this one didn't strike true for you, but we understand that each story/characters/pace can feel different to every listener. We would like to say that Echoes is a lead-up to the next newest season of The White Vault that will be publicly available, so some of what the story entails is not fully explained, as it prepares listeners for what is to come. We hope that, as we continue to create and tell stories, we can craft something that you will enjoy!
God I love The White Vault. It's got so much to give. Iluka is still my favourite but as always, this was a great addition to to the white vault universe
Glad you enjoyed it :)
I wonder if the fissures, like what this was about, are actually where the Hunger that is supposedly locked in the Vault is escaping/leaking out. It'd be an interesting consequence of the destruction of a site - not being able to keep it fully sealed in anymore. The energy of this episode didn't match the other vault site incidents, more than a 'new' site feels like it should.
Finally. My friends and I had listened to Ep 1 but decided to wait until the series was done so we could do them as one long episode and have the transcripts. No regrets. Just finished and I'm grinning. That was a fun ride. I still have a theory on the Vault locations, and possibly the fissures but time will tell.
Love how everything falls into the White Vault universe. Sooo good!
oooh! (trying hard not to give spoilers)
Even by the standards of secret societies engaged in human sacrifice, Sidja Group seem particularly unfriendly.
So I'm guessing this won't be the last time we see Jason? 👀
