I love how diverse all your episodes are. These types of episodes are great to listen to when I'm waiting to get the kids off the bus or giving baths or the like. The main series itself is perfect for listening to at night, after all the kids are in bed and my partner is at work, while playing games like PowerWash Simulator.
So understood. We second PowerWash Simulator, but sadly mostly get to play Clean-Something-Up in real life instead. 😭 But a good listen is a good listen, and we're happy to hear you enjoy these episodes, too!
right so I had completely forgotten Mr. Tufts was a cat, so that bit of news hit me like a freight train. I def can see walter as a 'dogs are better than people' person even if he's not overly fond of animals in general and not a more stereotypical dog person, that sort of obvious attentiveness and general outpouring of adoration that dogs are known for giving seems like something he'd really value in his life. That being said knowing that he isn't but thinking he might have ended up with a dog anyways has gotten some gears turning so I might have to indulge a little AU where Mr. Tufts is indeed canine. (It had been Molly's idea to get the dog, Walter had claimed it in the divorce out of spite and to his surprise she hadn't fought him on it. Looking back it seemed, to him at least, he had always been the one going around picking up the fluffy little bastard's shit. He even had a belt clip full of those little white bags you wore on your hand. They made him feel like the world's most unprepared proctologist...)
This was terrific! Love David Ault’s voice acting. I found it totally amusing how Travis couldn’t help himself and added sound effects to an interview. 😁
Thank you for sharing. I love hearing David Ault. I listen to him on No Sleep as well as on The White Vault. p.s I agree that Hitch hikers guide is great 😊
This was such FUN to listen to! Yay, shout to Ripon! It’s a lovely part of the country (I know Ripon pretty well, as I used to visit my then boyfriend at the university there when we were students.) Thanks for posting the podcast links - I knew I’d missed one or two!
Let us know if we missed any links either! We'll add them in. Glad you enjoyed the stories :)
This gave me so much joy, thank you, all of you :)
Enjoy 😎
Happy to hear you're taking time off!
I am reassured to hear you do take breaks
